Laurie McPherson, is a unique lawyer with over twenty years of trial experience. As a younger associate, she learned from the very best and the brightest members of the bar, garnering significant experience in the areas of high net worth divorce, as well as complex litigation, and white collar criminal defense.
Samantha Barach joined The McPherson Firm, PC as an associate in 2018. While in law school, Samantha was selected to participate as a clinic student at The Children's Law Center where she appeared and represented clients in court under student practice order, conducted client interviews and assisted supervising attorneys in trial preparation.
Successfully appealed a trial court decision that had granted the non-titled spouse only 25% of "business interests, " including equity, carried interest, and investments in employee funds, that the titled spouse had earned during the marriage. As a result, the Appellate Division unanimously reversed, and granted our client a full 50% of these interests, worth tens of millions of dollars.
