Our sincere Thanks for helping me plan my family reunion. You were right there to help me make decisions on the type of food and the amount that I would need for such a large group. No one believed that we had the event catered, because the food was as homemade tasting as if we slaved in our own kitchens.

The food here is always great. There hasn't been anything that I ordered that I didn't enjoy. The portions are plentiful, and their prices are low. The staff is also very wonderful and prompt.
The only downside (which is not even a problem) is that they close around Noon. West Winds Cafe is my #1 spot for breakfast when I have the chance.

Extremely rude, called to place an order and asked what their best breakfast dish was, i asked the girl for a recommendation. She replied with "our menu is online look at it and call back when you know what you want to order, I dont have time to go over the whole menu with you" 1st I wasn't asking what they had on their menu I was only asking for a dish that she would recommend, 2 I own a pizzeria and if any of my employees treated my customers the way she did they wouldn't be my employee any longer. The only saving grace was the food was good.

Can't give ZERO... Google won't let me 😕. Guess you gotta be a reg here to get service. Burnt.. burnt food... Server was VERY unprofessional... Oh yeh the food was BURNT also.. Another sad local spot... I guess the elderly could tolerate this type of environment... Did I mention the burnt food? Was sat first and still didn't even get the simple toast I ordered before a plate of pasta and meatballs came out... Guess it might be my year-round TAN... IDK... Definitely don't have to worry about getting any more of my money. Should of just walked!

Food was cold. My over-hard eggs weren't - one had a runny yolk and some uncooked white. The coffee was weak and didn't smell like coffee. One of the owners (?) was having a loud and annoying conversation about politics at one table the entire time we were there. The only good part was the waitress. She was friendly and moving fast. She should find a job at a better restaurant

This place catered a breakfast for our church. DISGUSTING. The scrambled eggs were GREEN, the potatoes were mush, and the bacon, these people RUINED bacon! It was soaked in oil! Not bacon grease, OIL. So gross. The food tasted like it had been made the night before, sat on a counter and then reheated. They also were 45 minutes LATE, delivering breakfast! We love diners, but never going to this place.

We were headed to Patti's Pantry, but they were closed for vacation. We went to West Winds since it was right next door.
1. Stares from other customers upon entering. I was ready to take a bow. I did look straight back at a few and said Good Morning in my cheeriest voice.
2. Sat at the only open table area (three small tables lined up next to each other ). The cleaning rags still laying on the tables along with the mess crumbs.
3. Waited quite a while before anyone came over. There were two waitresses working. first one came over and asked about drinks and if we wanted menus (duh, yeah.

I somewhat consider myself a huge fan of diners. This one is close to our home, and my better half said it was great when she came a few years ago.
Upon walking in, we were given quite an uncomfortable stare down by what I assume was a handful of regulars to this joint. States continued throughout the meal.
One waitress was working. She was very friendly, food came fast. She may or may not be familiar with what they have. I asked if their meat hot sauce contains onions, telling her that I am allergic, but it definitely had onions.
The menu was simple and limited, which usually means excellent

I've gone to west winds a dozen times over the last few years. It gives a consistent Rochester style breakfast. It is a greasy place, but the food is always on point.
The owner has always been nice to the family when we come in. We've had catering from here several times over the last few years and it's always been solid!
All in all great food but don't expect five star dining.

This place might not be the nicest in terms of interior, but it's not exactly trying to be either. Mismatched plates, glasses, and even silverware of different sizes show this place to be somewhere to grab some quick food cheap.
It's not horrible either. Came here 3 times now, all 3 times the service was fast & polite despite having only 1 waitress each times. My food never came out cold or burnt from sitting in any one place too long.
Meals I've tried here include the Western Omelette, the Garbage Plate Omelette, and a cheese omelette. All were HUGE, and very filling for their
