Good mental health relies on the capacity for adaptation and change. We are like trees: our ability to adapt to the environment depends on roots sunk deep in the soil of personal history, biology, culture and genetics. I am a Board Certified psychiatrist with over twenty years experience in psychopharmacology and psychotherapy.

Practicing in a profession that I love, I have formed deep and lasting bonds with my patients. Emotionally and physically healthy people are the foundation of a productive society. When patients' emotional or physical health is disrupted, they feel as though nothing will be right until their equilibrium is restored.

My early research concentrated on the countries of the former Soviet Union and eastern Europe. I conducted epidemiological research in Russia, Byelorussia, Estonia, and the former Czechoslovakia.

BEWARE!!!
I started seeing Dr. Theodore after being on an anti-depressant prescribed by my general practitioner. I wanted someone who would spend more time working with me to figure out my medication, because the last thing i wanted was to feel like i was on a medication that was prescribed to me as a quick fix. As a college student, I went through my school insurance program and found Dr. Theodore. It started off with her telling me that she does billing differently. I had to pay her in full, directly, and then submit a claim to my insurance company who would reimburse me. Pretty standard...but
