Rainier Welding Supplies is the South Puget Sound area's locally owned and operated welding supplies store. Since 2005, we have been the "go-to" shop in Lakewood / Tacoma for welding supplies, welding gas, safety equipment, clothing, and all welding-related gear. Our specialty is customer service! Our staff has over 70 years in the welding business.

Our shop is conveniently located just off the 512 freeway in Lakewood, near McChord Airfield.

Great small locally owned Welding shop. Very friendly staff. Even being a small local shop the prices are great. Bought a Lincoln 256 from them and could not be happier with there service. They guy behind the counter even helped me tie it down in my trailer. Was a first time customer and have been an Iron Worker for 9 years wish I’d have found them sooner. I will be going back for all my needs

Bought a 140 amp Lincoln Electric from Home Depot had some trouble setting it up took it down to Rainier welding and they hooked me up. Very understanding excellent advice very knowledgeable. Myself Rainier Welding Supply is my go-to place from here on out

Honestly it a service that sets the standards. These guys have gone out on a limb to help me with my business, including dropping everything to come and deliver materials to my job site on 45 min notice. I was dead in the water with no way out and the owner had sent a family member to my rescue. Their prices are are much lower than Central and Pacific and the staff if much more personal and responsive. Strongly recommend them if they are in your area. Good location.
