OAK DELL PARK is located in one of the prettiest valleys in Santa Clara County, the name itself means "Valley of Trees". Just minutes south of San Jose's bustling environment, you'll find the peace and quiet you've been hoping to find. Back in the 70's this was a favorite campground of the locals where many learned to swim in one of the two pools.
While we no longer have the pools, the campground has maintained its natural setting. This is where the Doobie Brothers Band played concerts. The old bandstand is still there. We have all kinds of wildlife (turkeys, bobcats, deer, owls and quail). Some have reported seeing coyotes and a mountain lion, although we never saw the lion!

Great park, beautiful place, very quite. Not sure about these reviews about management never experienced anything bad only good and positive. They do deliver your packages everyday! Many people bbq as well as myself. Maybe some people are careless and unsafe with sparks and no lids? You can purchase internet and set your phone to call over internet you'll never know the difference. Love the place here.

I've lived here in Oak Dell RV Park for 10 years ( I meant to only stay for one), and I love it!
My two year old niece comes over at least 3 times a month, and we walk down the driveway, play ball in my site and have NEVER had anyone make me feel uncomfortable about having her here.
It's generally 5-8 degrees cooler here than in town. You can here a pin drop in the evenings, and the park feels less like an "RV park environment" and more like a country neighborhood.

By far the worst RV park we have ever stayed at. Would have given a no star rating but 1 was the lowest. Very rude neighbor who couldn't stand the sound of kids. He slept in the day time and worked very early in the morning. One peep after quiet time (8pm) and he'd come pounding on the door harassing us to shut the hell up. Management did nothing because he's a full timer and they didn't want to make waves. Families steer clear of this ghost town. Quiet time is between 8pm and 10am. Did I mention we got scolded for BBQing, the neighbor didn't want to smell our steak and chicken so we had to stop

I called this RV Park today and spoke with Amanda. Amanda informed me that there are no spaces available for any type of stay and they are booked till the end of the year. So there is no way to make a reservation with this place as they are not accepting them. I asked her about the fees prior to this info and she said that the fee's were around 900.00 a month, 300.00 a week, and 55.00 a day as opposed to what's listed on their website under rates which currently show 800.00 a month, 250.00 a week and 42.00 a day. When I asked Amanda if they have 20 amp receptacle hookups, she did not know how to

Janet and her husband run a first rate park. They were super nice and friendly to me. This park is really clean and is in a beautiful location in the hills." Many of the spaces have more room between than nearby parks like Maple Leaf. Yes, cell service is very poor, but there are solutions to that these days like satellite internet. The park accepts older RV's, so if you're one that doesn't like seeing old RV's, it's probably not for you. Laundry facility has wonderful Maytag machines for a reasonable price. Free TV via a cable. Park is very quiet. Staff

We came in our brand new trailer, "Janet" The Mgr showed us our space next to a wreck of a trailer insuring us that it would be getting cleaned up. The 1st time riding our bikes we were harassed by the assistant Mgr that she didn't know who we were. We turned around & cancelled our plans. We were washing clothes a different day & the assistant Mgr came screeching up on her golf cart accusing us of overflowing the plumbing system in the laundry room. We dId nothing abnormal paid our laundry fee & did not over stuff the washers. Another time the assistant came & knocked on our door asking if we were

I got there at five and it all seemed so beautiful, boy looks can be deceiving. Don't get me wrong I love the way the park is set up, the problem is the lies that they use to get people to rent from them. 1. The amenities say "Showers," we got there late so we didn't go look for the showers until the next day. While doing laundry in a laundry room with no heat, I found the shower in the same building also have no heat. It was warmer outside than it was in the bathroom and laundry room. Then you have to pay $1.25 for 12 minutes of shower time. I believe that unheated showers that you have to pay

I am a recent full timer and moved into Oak Dell in July 2014 and this place is great!! I looked at RV parks in San Jose, Hayward, Fremont, Mountain View and Morgan Hill. This is by far the most friendly and professional park I encountered. Janet was very helpful and answered all my newbie questions. Rules are very straight forward and all the residents are very friendly (if it's busy outside get ready to wave and talk to everyone you run into!). There is a laundry room conveniently located in the middle of the park, the pricing is very reasonable and the machines work well. There is also

This is a great place to stay! The managers and residents are friendly and helpful. The spaces are roomy and full hook ups. There is plenty of room for walking your dog. It is very convenient and is in the country foothills outside of Morgan Hill and Gilroy. The park is kept in immaculate condition.
The reason I rated 4 starts (instead of 5) is the poor cell service and wifi and lack of water for wading or swimming. The park has free wifi, but only for basic communication (think a few steps up from dial up). I never could receive cell phone calls but was able to receive texts. There is also no

I do like this park, and have stayed here many times(1 week at a time). Janet is truly awesome! The staff is usually very courteous, and attentive, and the place is very quiet - maybe the quietest park I've ever stayed in? Mostly FTers, and friendly ones. The only thing keeping it from being five stars(for me) is the lack of cell & internet reception based on it being tucked into the mountains. Not something they can really affect, but it is a real issue for FTers who work from their motorhome. They do offer free wifi, but that can't fix cell reception. Great park if internet/cell

My husband and I have been staying here for 3 months and love it! It's so quiet and we feel like we are way up in the mountains! We have nothing but good to say about the management! They keep this place safe! So if you are just dropping by and your not a resident you can expect one of the managers to stop you and ask you what you are doing or if they can help you! This is what I like the most, security:)

We were thinking of parking and living in our RV there for a while as we saved up for a house. We dealt with the manager "Janet"
Nothing but problems from there. She lost our application, she gave us false information about the site we were interested in, she was EXTREMELY RUDE over the phone. She acts like she must be on drugs. She forgot all about us even though we talked for about an hour in person when we filled out our application. They really need a change of management. If not for the management, the place may not be a bad place to stay for a short while. I urge anyone considering
