Steer clear of this company! We felt uneasy during our first (and only) meeting with Scott Ellis, as he seemed a bit of a blowhard. However, we figured it didn't matter if we liked him or not as long as he did his job. Unfortunately, all he did was pass our house sale on to an inexperienced employee. We had to chase his office constantly for updates and were left to check with the title company ourselves in order to get information on the progress of our escrow.

Very disappointed because i ask before pay for my second applicant that if if will qualified even with mo credit and no social and agent said yes. Submitted 2 application and wasted $60 dollars because of them providing wrong information. I will never recommend this place to anyone. If 30 people apply. Look somewhere else i found a place you apply no charge until they approved you. So don't recommended

I recently found a property that looked like it could be a dream come true. The moment I seen it, I went ahead with the $30 application process and submitted my info. The next day to be proactive I called the office and attempted to provide any additional info to speed the process up but could not get Neldy on the phone. Even after contacting the main office, 4 Days later, here I am, the listing has been removed, I haven't received contact about the property or my application and regretting ever trusting this company.

Out of all rental companies in Visalia. This is by far my favorite I have rented from. Steve is very kind and polite and always takes care of any issues if I email him directly. Sometimes it does take a bit to receive a call back from the others in the office. But other than that. I truly enjoy my rental through Equity Group.

I have been with Equity Group for almost 3 years now and I have nothing but good things to say about them! Whenever I put in a maintenance request it is always met with urgency and respect.
I was so shocked and beyond elated I was able to get my dishwasher replaced! I live in a 1976 duplex and slowly but surely things are needed to be replaced and I haven't had any gripe from them. Highly recommend!
During the pandemic, I was very happy I rent with Equity Group because it was their number 1 priority to keep the tenants safe in their homes. They were even willing to work up a payment plan

ABSOLUTELY A Bunch of crooks! Upon move out...Perfect walk through, rental spotless, cleaned, carpets shampooed, looked better than when I moved in! Equity Representative told me looks great, you have your full deposit in 3 weeks! Then the deposit came back and they charged me for things that were on the check in sheet I filled out as existing problems when first moved in! I reported them to the board of realtors, don't deal with these people or blame yourself when it comes back on you!

I had a very good experience renting from Equity for my first time renting from an Agency. I rented from them for about a year and a half before I needed to relocate. They didn't pressure me into resigning a lease after my one year was up, it went to a month to month. During my time renting from them the communication from staff was always professional and responsive through phone calls and emails. Renting is hardly a joyous experience. However, The Equity Group makes it worth it! We are in our 2nd year lease with them and through quite some changes, nearly everyone from Neldy, Daizeree, Catalina and Les have been a pleasure to work with.
Their maintenance & repair turn around time is extremely quick and all of the personnel have been kind and professional.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would! This place is crooked as heck! They kept my whole deposit ($1495) for cleaning carpet and painting walls what they can't charge for. We didn't put any holes in the walls nor did we mess up any carpet. They refused us a pre move out inspection and told us to have carpets cleaned and provide a receipt of service so they know carpets were done. They told us that the person who did our carpets didn't go a good enough job even though they looked better than when we moved in. Extremely, EXTREMELY rude employees. Sounds silly but best way to describe the employees I encountered had a very "mean girl" mentality, especially from the employees Neldy and Catalina. Unprofessional and unwilling to accommodate. I will do everything in my power to make sure that anyone I know or ever come into contact with in the future never rent from this company again based on my experience with these two employees alone.

I just sold my home and utilized Scott Ellis with the Equity Group as my agent. I'll admit I was stressed out at first at how it would go, but he took control of the situation and put my fears to rest.
It was great to benefit from the years of experience Scott has, and I appreciate how honest he is with his clients. I would definitely recommend him as an agent, and am confident you won't be disappointed in his service.

They gave us a 60 day and when we try and find out why they keep refusing to answer. We were never given any notice or had any complaint brought to our attention either and always paid rent on time. Never had n issue till now and now they are refusing to rent any properties to us without any explanation. I've never had an issue with them if any was brought to our attention we corrected in their time frame. Be careful never know what you'll get kicked out for because they will REFUSE TO WORK WITH YOU AND LET YOU KNOW WHAT HAPPENED. Do not rent through them. The front desk refused to let

I've been in Visalia for almost one year now and they have been my property manager for the place I've been renting this whole time- literally the best management ever. Anytime I have a problem they always promptly Respond with a solution! They are very efficient, and very fast. I have a newborn, and I have a very busy work life, thus you want someone who is very efficient and fast with the issues that come up for your house. And Equity group is the one!
