Scam alert! I asked for an appointment for med management. The initial appointment was an hour. Then 5 days later they refer me out to someone who won’t manage meds. They don’t listen. They don’t follow up like they’re supposed to. I could not be more disappointed in the service I received. And the response when I complained? I was told that I misunderstood that I would be followed up with that day and that I misunderstood the unwillingness to receive help from them. But of course they collected my money. That part they were sure to get right. Anywhere else would be better. You’d be better

They were not helpful and refused to treat me. Had 2 sessions and both were mostly just repeating questions I already gave answers for during the intake process. She told me that I require a "higher level of treatment" and ended the second session after only 15-20 minutes, telling me I'll have to look elsewhere for treatment. I was just looking for help with ADHD, which is something their website says the help with, but they weren't willing to help me at all. Waste of my time.

I was trying to get my scripts filled after moving from another state. The nurse practitioner was very kind but clearly not prepared to provide any help to me and the whole visit was dedicated to a “consultation” that involved me answering all the same questions I filled out on intake forms and her trying to diagnose me from scratch. Not useful, waste of money and time.

I came to Neighborhood after seeing at least three different psychiatrists virtually. With all my previous appointments, I did not feel like I was being heard at all. A couple of weeks into seeing that third psychiatrist, I told them that I thought I might be ADHD, and their response was "Well, the medication we have you on for depression is also used to treat ADHD, so take double the dose and we'll see how that goes," which was neither helpful nor reassuring.
I looked through Neighborhood's website thoroughly prior to making my first appointment. I really liked that their website stated plainly

Avoid at all costs. They booked me with someone who was not qualified to treat me. The person had all my info and background prior to my appointment, then proceeded to put me through a pretty distressing intake knowing they had no intention of treating me. Then, there was an error in the way my bill was processed. I called billing to explain and provide specific insurance company information to make sure I would not be charged erroneously. The billing clerk screamed at me for the error although I had nothing to do with it. Then she hung up on me! So I may still be charged although my insurance

I have been seeing a psychiatrist since I was very young, so have been to at least 5-10 different practices over the course of moving around from state to state. As a social worker, I have also witnessed a broad range of psychiatric care. This was by far the most alarming experience to date. I indicated my previous diagnosis and mental health conditions in all of the pre-appointment paperwork and the NP acknowledged she had read over it already, so she was aware and proceeded with the appointment (important to note probably that I suffer from some of the most common mental health conditions that

Since I started with a new nurse practioner I have felt that the quality of my care is at the top of my expectations. I am listened to attentively, given suggestions that could add to my health and well being, and my perscriptions are taken care of in a timely manner. While I have not taken advantage of it yet, I appreciate that there are new additions to Neighborhood Psychiatry offering a variety of holistic support.

If you value your own mental health, find somewhere else. Terribly run, and while my first Dr was wonderful (but also left the practice for the reasons due to the above), I was then placed with the worst doctor I’ve ever experienced. The months in which I had to deal with Dr Tran, my anxiety went up — everything got worse. Since excusing myself of her care, I’ve gotten so much better again.
I work super hard on my mental health, and I personally need a doctor who will compliment that and care (almost) as much as I do about my mental well-being — not be a detriment to the process and a

I have been working with a psychiatric nurse practitioner at Neighborhood Psychiatry for over a year. I have been very happy with my practitioner and with the staff and processes at the clinic. They have been efficient, professional, and very knowledgeable. My work with my practitioner has been truly life changing and I would highly recommend her.
I’m posting a second review of Neighborhood Psychiatry as I’ve seen some negative comments. I continue to have nothing but positive experiences with the staff and my therapist. I have been working with them for over a year and like them very much

I feel so lucky to have found Neighborhood Psychiatry! After moving, I needed to find a place that fit my needs and I am more than pleased to have found them. I have Octavia and she is wonderful, super sweet and receptive! I feel very listened to and understood. I feel so grateful!
They are online at the moment and I am able to get an appointment from the comfort of my own home. Their online services are seamless and easy to use. I love being able to contact them through the app because I am able to do it any time of the day. No phone calls, no long waits, just amazing service.
