In our mission, we recognize that through education the empowerment of women can effect the transformation of our society. Therefore, we challenge our school community to academic excellence, to responsible leadership, and to Christian community service. The Catholic High School of Baltimore is an independent college-preparatory high school for young women, sponsored by the Sisters of St. Francis of Philadelphia.
Catholic High students become articulate in speech and writing, adept in the usage of technology, able to understand human culture through a study of humanities and the arts, and adept in those academic and social skills that promote team building and problem solving. Along with extracurricular activities, Catholic High students have many different responsibilities and privileges that are integral components of the Catholic High community.

The Catholic High School of Baltimore Alumnae Association meets regularly to plan projects and events for the thousands of Catholic High alumnae. All Catholic High graduates are members of the Alumnae Association, and all are welcome to attend meetings and events.
