Please note that the maximum number of people a room can accommodate is dictated by the configuration of the room. Sleeping bags are not allowed. Adjoining rooms are available for groups of more than 4 people. You do not have to count children 2 years old and younger. We will be open in January to welcome the hardy winter visitors looking for crisp winter-like days and walks along the deserted beaches.
Our friendly office staff is available from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM each day. We are often closed in January to do maintenance and give our staff some well deserved vacation time. Please call ahead during this time to verify that we are open for business. Generations have been coming to this location to relax and dream.

Spectacular little motel in the most unexpected of places. A friend who's often in Crescent City for work recommended it highly, as I was passing through on my way to Washington. Arrived around 8pm and got an Ocean view room for $90/night which was a nice surprise. The rooms are extremely clean and perfectly lovely for a motel of its nature. The bed was comfy, the linens and towels were plush and new, the bathtub was decent for a soak before bed and best of all, I slept with the patio door cracked open and got to fall asleep to the sounds of the nearby ocean. I ended up in one of the Garden rooms my last visit and did not sleep a wink the Entire night. The windows don't keep any noise out, nor light.. all night long I heard traffic and snoring from the man in room sharing wall with me (they were room 19?). I pulled over on my Stout Grove route home to sleep for a few hours. The rooms facing the beach are great bc that is all you hear. I will definitely take ear plugs my next visit.

Very disappointed, I have been staying at the Crescent Beach Motel every time I visit friends in Crescent City for almost 15 years. It must have new owners because the service & grounds keeping has gone way down hill. On our 2nd day, I had to go to the front desk & ask why our room was not being made up ? I was told they are cleaned before you arrive & when you leave. We had to empty our own trash, as we had pizza & chicken the night before. They now use little 1 time use foil pack shampoo & conditioner in 1. So I had to ask for them everyday. They only have 25 or so outdoor

Amazing location with amazing views! It is right on the beach, the rooms are very comfortable and clean. The property is very clean, well kept, and safe. The staff is very kind and helpful. Everything was perfect! Overall, the perfect place for a nice relaxing getaway, I will definitely recommend it to my friends and family and be back for another amazing trip!

This is a very basic motel room, with very basic amenities. Clean. I could have really used a fridge to store food/drink we had been carrying around on our trip. Towels looked fresh and new. Could have used another blanket for weight. Covering was very light. However slept well. Bathroom door was squeaky though - a bit annoying when other half needs to use in middle of night!

Basic, no frills motel on stunning Crescent Beach. We've stayed here three times and its likely we'll return. But BUYER BEWARE. You select and reserve a specific room, but we learned on our most recent trip in August 2020 that management does not feel bound to honor your specific room choice, even after it has been confirmed. On this trip our choice was not honored. We were not notified or given an explanation. An important detail for visitors to be aware of. All the same, the location makes this place worth the risk.

Literally walk out the back of your room and your on the beach, they provide chairs and a great back porch to hang out on!! Also very affordable nothing like it in the are ! SHOUT OUT TO JAGGER HE WAS VERY KIND AND HAD GREAT ADVICE ON WHERE TO GO AS A LOCAL!!!!!! Any questions about anything just ask him !

Refused to refund my reservation fees. I notified them 48+ hours before the reservation because I got sick. They didn't care. No refunds. They hid behind the mantra: Just policy. Change the policy! They certainly lost my business. Few lodgings would not honor a sick person's request with a 48+ hour notice. This is just harsh.

It's LITERALLY right on the beach. We come here about once a year and have been for about a decade. I would like to give it 5/5 but every time we come here there is an issue and this time was no exception. Upon checking in we got to meet the new owner to discover the specific room we booked online for our five year anniversary, the same room we book every time, had been given to someone else! Now, he had no explanation as to how it happened and NO solution or reimbursement was given other than to give us another available room (which was between a deaf elderly couple and a drunk couple) so

My Favorite Motel on the Beach near Redwoods!!! Not too cheap but clean and the location near water is not to be beaten.
This is now my third return to this wonderful place on the South end of Crescent city. I wish I could share the feeling I have when I'm sitting on the porch and enjoying the wide expanse of the Pacific ocean horizon in front of me. For some infathomable reason, and perhaps exactly because this place is away from Cresecent City itself and has no neighbors, it gives me the peace of mind that I so need when I'm on vacation or going for a short trip.

Our GPS had a hard time finding it but Melissa was a great help in guiding us there. A bit on the older side but great location and pricing. You can't beat waking up to an ocean view for around $100 a night. Not much extras but you're not there to sit in your hotel room when there is so much to explore.

This motel is right on the outskirts of crescent city. Prices aren't super expensive but not super cheap. Our stay was 91$ a night.
The rooms are small but comfortable. Ours came with a queen, desk, and a small table with two chairs. Also included is a coffee maker, blow dryer, tv, and small closet.
Breakfast is free, however it's only coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and fresh fruit. The snack room is open from 6:30am until 9:45pm with free drinks and newspapers.
In the lobby you can purchase sodas, snacks, and small souvenirs to take home.

Five star view: ask for ocean view.
Looking at about $150 for the night.
Positives: Beautiful view, deck to sit and watch ocean. Walkway straight down to the beach. Clean bed, bath, strong water pressure. Heater built into the wall. Coffee in room. Cold breakfast in the am.
An $80 room with a $70 view.
Not so positive: The walls are paper thin. You can hear everything. The carpet is stained, anyone walking around on the deck can be heard forever.
