The service tech was professional and respectful and provided an excelent product to use on our sliding glass doors. Since our house has sliders front and back we chose a tough mirror finish tint so that others couldn't see al the way through our house while the blinds were open. I must also say it is entetaining to watch the birds around our house hover at the slider to check themselves out.

I would highly recommend NOT using this business service. We had booked Sunslayer (Rik) to do 2 jobs on both of our vehicles. He no called no showed on the first appointment that we set for him. We rescheduled the following day, however he was very late. The work he did was OK but did not live up to the expectation of what he claimed he could do. Bubbles that never came out- even weeks later. To top it all off he did not come back to finish the 2nd vehicle and never responded to us again either calling or texting. It's worth an extra $100 to go to a place like Mr. Tint where the service is consistent

Check it out this was the most easiest decision i made when it came to getting my car tinted. Seems like these days these companies are too expensive or too lazy to do the work. I just needed the back window of my mercedes done most of you who own Mercedes you put cheap tint on the minute you start turning you rear window defroster within a few months it bubbles up. Well he uses only the best tint and offers warranty on the tint.
I found a few shops on yelp and they wanted to charge me upwards of $250 to do one window and they were using 3m the cheapest stuff on the market. This guy was honest

Rik did an awesome job on my wife's car! I was worried because it is over a year old and I'm sure not perfect to work with after being used a while, but it turned out wonderfully!
As a seasoned yelper, I always look through several reviews before choosing who our family does service with.
It helps that Rik is very close by to our business, but I certainly would not have used him if he hadn't had great reviews. As a business owner myself I appreciated his approach with explaining his product line, affordable pricing, the lifetime warranty, and the fact that he is an authorized installer

Outstanding service. I've been here twice so far and I got an appt the day I called him. Rick is a very friendly guy and does exceptional work. I have my 2017 Nissan fully tinted from him, even the windshield and a year later, it still looks great! His shop is very clean and the work is done in a timely manner. While visiting family in the San Diego area I was given one of their vehicles to use for the weekend. When I entered the Range Rover I couldn't help but notice the bubbly tint job and gaps along the edges. When I asked about it they told me of their nightmare with sunslayer. They mentioned being overcharged, disrespected, threatened and ultimately hung up on when trying to ask about the problem being corrected. I have been shopping around to get my windows tinted and most places seem to have outrageous prices except when I called Sunslayer and spoke to Rick last week to get my camper shell and back panel windows tinted. Although it was short notice he was very prompt about getting me in and helping me with the tint job. He was very professional and knowledgeable about the tint and how the process worked. I highly recommend coming to his location on coast highway. He did an amazing job and will be bringing in my other vehicles for him to hook them up also! Thanks Rick!!!

We opted to have our Llumar full Ceramic film installed by another local company.
Our experience at Sun Slayer with Rick was mixed. The installation room was amazing, the waiting lobby is acceptable, the building is a distinct red, but his personality is very strong.
Pricing is dodgy, Sunslayer was +$155 more than Solar Care. When I asked why we should pay more with him the answer I received was "Because it's me (Rick)." I have read the reviews but I have not seen an installation job.
The "military" price was later disqualified when I was told his normal going rate for the Llumar Ceramic install

He took time out of his Sunday (usually closed) to tint my 96 Toyota Camry. I can't explain how well he did in 3 hours. Looks beautiful! It shows he's been doing this for more than 20 years. Thank you Rick!

Funny thing I see all these five star reviews. My experience recently with Sunslayer was less than one star actually. I had an appointment on 7/10/17 to get my wife's car tinted. He called me 30min before the 10 a.m. appointment and tells me he has to cancel because he allotted 3 hrs. to complete the car and he doesn't think he can finish the job in that amount of time because he has to finish up another job he started the day before that will pay him more money. He didn't actually say the money part but I know that's the reason he canceled. Ok fine, I'm through with him at that point but my wife

I am not a car person. I just hate burning my buns off on hot car seats in the summer. So when it came to getting my new car windows tinted, I looked up the best place around and it was clearly Sunslayer. Now Rick is someone who loves cars. And he clearly cares about making sure the customer knows what he plans to do and how...he even put a little sign on my indoor window so I didnt forget and roll it down ....I definitely would have ruined the new tinting. I wish I had another car to go and get tinted but I guess I will need to wait another 5 years before I can go see Rick again!

I've had 10 vehicles tinted over the course of the past 9 years at 3 different shops. I used Sunslayer for my most recent purchase, a 2012 Challenger R/T. He did an excellent job, the window lines are perfectly cut, and the pricing was very decent.
The only reason it wasn't a full five-star review was because I had to scrub off water overspray around the windows, which dried white on my black interior. Other than that, I'd recommend the place. Nice guy, too.

Rik did an amazing job tinting my 09 MS3. Not only is he precise and detail oriented; he makes sure that everything that shouldn't get wet is covered, and the panels that do get wet are wiped down. A couple weeks later the tint is still perfect and I couldn't be happier. If you need a tint, go to Sunslayer. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Rik did an outstanding job on my 2015 WRX. I got my rears in 15% and my fronts with the clear nano ceramic which blocks all the UV and makes the driveability so much better. He took his time and everything came out perfect. Also Rik gave me an awesome military discount. Very professional job and outstanding customer service.

I was back home on vacation with my new truck and wanted to get my windows tinted. I have a 2015 Ram 2500 quad cab, split rear window.
Rick explained tint options to me and educated me on tint in general. He uses exclusively Llumar tint which carries a legit warranty. He removed some cheap aftermarket tint off the two front windows and wrapped my truck in 15% with a sun strip. Price was fair and he was done right on time which was perfect. Truck turned out awesome and I am stoked.
I would recommend his shop to anyone in the San Diego county area looking to get the benefits that tint has. Thanks

First off I have to mention that Rick took time out his off day to schedule an appt with me. Also I noticed a defect a week later and notified him, and he came in on his day off again to fix it. He also quoted me a price before seeing my car and stuck to it. These thigs really speak to his character.
He he wrapped my back windows and did ceramic on the front and a week later it looks great. Tint can be tricky on newer Volkswagen but this proved no match for Rick. He's friendly and knowledgeable and a true craftsman.
