My mother was at Sun Terrace after a successful hip surgery. After several days there she started to walk with a walker. Then she developed edema in her legs, which was not addressed by staff until it developed into Cellulitis. She then started several days of severe Dierherrea which, again was not addressed. My mother became very dehydrated, and spent 4 more days hallucinating, with no speech, eye contact or any cognition. When I expressed my concern, RN staff said, “she’ll be fine. We see this all the time.” There was never a sense of urgency to any of these conditions that my mother suffered

This is a very poor facility and think twice before going there don’t let the upgrades of a new floor sway your decision for going to this place it’s the persons on staff that is important to your family member.
I have to tell you that I have not once heard from the doctor that cares for my mother Dr. berio’s not one time in the three months she has been there. I have indeed left him several messages he doesn’t call you back.
I have a family member who wants to progress however every time she asked to take a shower it’s over a week wait if she asked to get out of the bed there is no

I would like to send a review of Sun Terrace Rehab Center; In the past several months I have had to deal with several rehab facilities; Sun Terrace has been the most friendly overall, a very professional business approach, physical and occupational therapy 5 days a week, and very open to the state Covid Policies.
I can’t say enough about the people who work here. Once someone opens their Heart to you, there is someone right behind them doing the same!! I feel very comfortable having my wife at Sun Terrace for rehab!

My husband left Sun Terrace in worse shape then when he was admitted. I had him removed from this facility and readmitted to the hospital. His last day there, I walked into his room and there was a bucket in the middle of the room collecting water from the air conditioner. He was lying in bed damp and shivering. In other instances, the nurse tried to give him a once a day med 4 times in one day. On a different day, different nurse brought him the wrong meds. There were many more issues in almost every department. He will never go back to this facility.

I can’t say enough about the amazing experience we have had with sun terrace. Every time I have a great experience someone does something else to go above and beyond and amazes me all over again. I was super nervous about leaving my dad at another rehab facility after being through a few of them and Brittany made sure to settle my anxiety. From day one she reassured me that he would be taken care of and she kept her promise. Highly knowledgeable staff extremely caring people. Thank you to everyone who cared for my dad from nurses to housekeeping to cooks. Dad loved the food his room was pristine
