Our intention is to nurture community and provide practices that support you in showing up in your life so you can make the difference you want to make. Our motto is to begin anywhere'. We meet you where you are, as you are, and support you in getting where you want to go. We welcome you to practice yoga in a community where people inspire, uplift, and empower one another.
We practice yoga with the intention of providing space for you to feel better in the skin that you are in, to encourage muscles to strengthen, as well as stretch and lengthen, your breath to flow, and your body to detoxify deeply, peeling away layers of physical, mental, and emotional toxins so you can open to new possibilities of vitality, lightness and freedom, returning to yourself, and tuning into your own healing and intuition.

I started going to Wicked Good a number of years ago -- my first time ever doing yoga -- with the aim of slowing down the deterioration of my aging body. The teachers have been way more experienced and well trained than one would expect in a small-town studio. Plus the place is suffused with a friendly and supportive atmosphere, and is exceptionally well managed.

I love the instructors! They're kind, knowledgeable, and teach a variety of tools to help my practice. I like that there's quite a few class times, and I can always find a class time that works no matter how busy my schedule gets. The Yoga Nidra class on Sundays is a great complement to any practice.

I am so grateful that I found Wicked Good Yoga! The introductory offer is a no brainer and the location is super convenient, right on Rte 1. The slow flow is still challenging enough to break a sweat and use muscles I did not know I had and yet not so challenging I have to stop. I am enjoying my practice immensely and find that my attitude and overall well-being is heightened more than just about any other exercise I have done in the past. The mind/body connection that Yoga provides is invaluable. Give it a try!

I love this place. It is so beautiful, the people are amazing and the classes are wonderful. I even stay at the inn for a staycation because it feels like you're away at a retreat. The messages are incredible. There are classes for every level of capability. I always leave there feeling renewed. The owners are such warm, loving and beautiful people. A must add to your self care list.

I visited this studio while on an annual business trip in Maine and loved it so much I went every night after my meetings wrapped up. I loved the intimate feel of the studio space, the mindfulness and strength of the instructors, the challenge of a Baptiste hot yoga practice, and the amenities offered despite the small size of the location (full shower, sink, changing rooms, etc.). I can't wait to practice there again next year!

Talk about Namaste!!! This is and has to be one of the best yoga places in Maine. I don't like heat and yet they have me doing hot yoga! I drive 45 minutes to go here. It's that wordlessly wonderful.
Mel owns the place, but she is a welcoming supportive participant. She has fantastic teachers who are diverse in personality and your practice varies to match.
You know it's a great place when you get to lay in child's pose half the time and not feel weird or inadequate. Everyone supports each other and there are always a good number of men mixed in, which tells me they are comfortable

Intimate is the first word that comes to mind to describe WGY. The studio is small, like 18 people at absolute max, but well designed and super clean both inside and out. There is one, open, unisex bathroom so leave your inhibitions on the pea stone driveway. The community of instructors and students is energetic, close and welcoming. I was visiting for a month and after a few sessions I felt like I was going over to a friend's house to practice yoga with some new friends - I never felt like a customer.
The class temp for power flow is moderate - not super hot. The instruction flavor

An incredible place to practice! The small studio is gorgeous - great colors, decor, calming vibes, and impeccably designed bathroom feat a shower if you need to wash up. The classes (most of which are hot) are equally stellar - terrific sequencing from start to finish especially ones by the owner, Melanie who has a terrific presence that will make you feel right at home! The direction of the instructors is both nurturing and invigorating. You'll feel stronger, more vibrant, and fuller in heart. Don't be intimidated to try the hot classes if you're new to them. You'll feel great

Absolutely breathtaking studio located on the second floor of a barn-like building that has been converted into a zen paradise. Hand-laid stone in the entrance-way and showers, feng shui décor, spotless light pine floors upstairs in the studio and JADE yoga products for sale at the front desk if you wish to purchase a mat, mat towel, etc. If you want to give your soul a facelift, better your body, and enhance your mind - take one of the many enriching classes taught by knowledgable and cultivated founder, Melanie Burns, or long-time professional ballet dancer and polished traditional yogi, Murielle
