PERMANENT MAKEUP (and its variation, MICROBLADING), is a tattoo, and it is not-this is a case of apples and walnuts. Both are nutritious foods, and both grow on trees, but they're not the same. For more details on the differences between durable cosmetics and body art, please visit the About page on this website.
As I practice it, permanent makeup includes aesthetic procedures such as eyebrow color, eyeliner/eye shadow, and lipcolor-it also includes "micropigmentation, " which is the medical term for restorative coloration following cancer surgery, radiation or chemotherapy, as well as simulated-hair pigmentation for alopecia clients who have lost their eyebrows and/or eyelashes.

Services
Eyebrow microblading design and application: $425, which includes three visits in 6 months. Lip color costs $550. Lip color includes four visits. NOTE: Because of health risk concerns, I have not been doing lipcolor-I intend to resume during the first week of June. Eyebrow maintenance color for existing clients costs $95 (each visit), and should be needed no more than every year or so.
A terrific investment-I'm so glad I did it now-before I lost all of my eyebrow hairs! I would recommend this to anyone-Also would recommend you-as I had this done once before and was disappointed in the outcome. It's one of the best things I've ever done and [I] don't know why everyone doesn't try it.
Microblading refers to work done by hand, and the effect is usually to simulate individual hairs. Less effort for the same effect. In the order shown here: topically applied makeup; no makeup; and tattooed eyebrow makeup. Minor redness from the procedure will disappear in a couple of hours.
She will require at least one additional application, as part of the color will be absorbed into the skin (or removed by the immune system, depending on how you describe it), and some will be lost as the surface skin wears away during the next 5-7 days. This appearance, as the final result, is expected after a second application (sometimes a third).

This is my beloved Alys, my oldest client to date. She was 95 at the time. She was a NC friend of my parents who suggested my name when I was born. She said, "I've never had eyebrows-you've got to give me some eyebrows." This is how she looked the next day. I accomplished this with a hand tool and the usual topical anesthetics.
Scar management is another paramedical process. Using my tattoo machine, I am able to release and smooth out scar tissue. It takes time (a period of months, and two or more treatments), but it can result in a dramatically improved appearance. Those with scars from surgery, an accident, or acne can gain smoother skin.
