The Original Bar was first Established in 1948, we are a Family owned and operated, laid back, enjoy yourself kinda place. Wooded, spacious, private campsites at reasonable rates. Old time, historic Saloon, River Tube rental Trips, close to many events, activities and all Nature has to offer in our little slice of Heaven.

Located on the beautiful, wild Namekagon River & minutes away from hundreds of fishing holes and beaches. If you don't want a campground that packs you in like sardines, and miss the friendly Tavern atmosphere of yesteryear, this is the place for you! The Saloon was built in 1948, and is a local icon.

This is a great campground if you want relaxation. For a small rental fee, they will let you use a tube and they will drop you off and pick you up down the river. After a day of tubing, relax at your campsite or go to the bar for a drink. They are great people!

Absolutely amazing time! The owners are great, the float was BEAUTIFUL AND SO RELAXING the sites are awesome! Definitely will be back! Art sure is one dedicated individual!

Excellent campground, very clean and quiet. Close to ATV trails. Management was more than accommodating during our recent stay. We'll be planning another trip to the area next season.

Art was very attentive. He checked on us multiple times to ensure a pleasant experience. We had an RV in a no hookup tent site. Good shuttle service ($5 a person), clean shower (1 stall) dump station, a very spacious site, hard to tell where site boundaries were but it wasn't an issue, plenty of open space to explore with the kids. More hookup sites and a playground would be nice.

Had an amazing weekend there with the family. The owners were really cool and always made sure that we had enough fire wood to stay warm. Bathroom and shower facilities were kept clean and very well maintained. Would definitely bring my family back for another weekend get away.

Best Customer service I have ever recieved in my life. Everyone working was very friendly, Art is a real class act guy. A party had a tube deflate and Art canoed all the way down the Namakagon river with a tube behind his boat only to catch them right before earls park; which is the end of the tubing route. I can't believe anyone would make him bring a tube to them on such a slow and shallow part of the river, but Art was never sour about it once. We had a great time at the campground too. Can't wait to come back!!
