CU Strategic Planning is a minority, women, and LGBTQ owned business with six partners that have worked in credit unions all their lives. Considered experts in the industry, our staff are called "Miracle Makers." They work with credit unions large and small to improve their financial performance and impacts in the community.
CU Strategic Planning was founded in 2008 with the goal of transforming credit unions' abilities to transform their communities. Since then, we assembled an elite team- the best of the best in the industry. From former trade association executives to turn around CEOs, they share a passion for making the world a better place by helping credit unions to thrive.
Sharon's Matrix-like power to perceive and control numbers makes her CU Strategic Planning's resident Neo. With over 30 years of financial expertise, Sharon came to CU Strategic Planning having most recently served as CEO of Express Credit Union and Executive Director of Express Advantage, a 501(c)(3) organized to serve the needs of low income individuals and families in Washington State by helping them achieve their financial goals.
Jamie founded CU Strategic Planning in 2008 and credits the organization's success with attracting five elite business partners and their development of an exceptional team. Together they are guided by the mission to unlock opportunities for credit unions to change lives and communities.
Jamie's background as a former PBS producer and cooperative idealism aligned in her service as a past publicist for the World Council of Credit Unions and leadership resulting in national credit union underwriting of the PBS program BizKid$.Currently, she is producing OpportunityKnock$ with Emmy Award-winning executive producer and co-creator, Jamie Hammond.

Patrick Davis developed a superpower of observation during his more than 20 years in accounting and finance. He believes it is better to listen to others (and numbers) more than talking, because learning follows the proper amount of listening. He's put that power to good use improving the financial performance and providing financial analysis to diverse industries from education and manufacturing to credit unions.

This review will not do them justice, because it is hard to put into words what a great job CU Strategic Planning did assisting us with our CDFI certification and the subsequent CFFi grant proposal/award. They have this process dialed, I would not hesitate to use them again (and we have for other grant opportunities) or to recommend them and their services to other credit unions. But, from a bigger picture they have sharpened our point-of-viewand truly helped us live our mission to be a community focused credit union.

Their ability to make a substantial impact on the financial performance of the credit unions they work with, coupled with the increased impact on the communities served, is second to none.
