Dr. Nancy Distel is a licensed psychologist and founding Partner of Positive Developments. She uses both short- and long-term therapy approaches to treat adults, couples, families, and children of all ages. Her passion is to help people promote their own emotional growth and to learn how to fully engage in their relationships and the world.
We provide comprehensive psychotherapy services for children of all ages via remote tele-health and in person. Our child therapists have specialized training in child clinical psychology, which informs the assessment and treatment of our clients and their families. Our integrative approach is tailored to each child's developmental level and presenting problems.
At Positive Developments we offer individual psychotherapy (via remote tele-health and in person) for adults seeking to address a variety of issues. Our therapists help clients to effectively work through the problems they face in response to stress, difficult life transitions, relationship issues, and emotional and behavioral difficulties.
