Hallie Hyatt is a Certified Permanent Makeup Artist located in Oakland, California and the co-owner of Studio Noir, a female owned and operated permanent makeup and traditional tattoo studio serving people from all walks of life. Hallie's interest in permanent cosmetics came from her own experience.
Want to save time getting ready. If you save even 10 minutes a day on your makeup that will save you over 60 hours a year!. Permanent cosmetic treatments, unlike a regular tattoo, use natural pigments that break down over time. The amount of time it takes for permanent brow or eyeliners to fade depends on many factors, including sun exposure, skin type, pigment color, medical conditions, and how well you adhere to aftercare instructions.
Pre-care is important to get the skin at optimal condition for color deposit, keep you comfortable during the procedure, and reduce potential swelling and bruising after your appointment. Do not book any major events (wedding, vacation, social event) during the 2 weeks after procedure, a little peeling or flaking will occur.
This was my first time getting permanent make-up done so I was a bit nervous. Hallie was punctual, informative, helped suggest proper color and executed beautifully. It is a process with the healing and peeling so be patient but the end result was perfect. I actually found her on yelp due to all the amazing reviews she was given by past clients.

Thank you for your response - although first I need to point out that my appointments were only one year ago, not two years as you stated. While I appreciate you offering to correct the mistake or refer me to other artists, I will be going back to my former cosmetic tattoo artist Claudia as I trust her work after 7 more years of microblading tattoo work since I did with her. Of all of the cosmetic/vanity things I've tried (more than I like to admit), I've never once had one live up to the expectations I had for it. Until I got my eyebrows microbladed by Hallie!! It is truly the one thing that was everything I hoped it would be and that I immediately felt satisfied with and continue to be every day. Hallie was great with listening to my needs and achieving the right shape and natural look I wanted. She was patient and professional and even followed up to check on me afterward. This was my first time getting any tattoo work done, so I was a little nervous, but it ended up being a great decision. Hallie is amazing! It's clear that she loves what she does, and she's so good at it. She took the time to understand how I wanted my eyeliner done. She took her time and got it right. She was also a pro at getting drops in my eyes (something that not even my optometrist can do!), so overall it was a really great experience :)

Hallie is a true artist! I am so grateful for her work on my brows. I had areas affected by eczema that made my brows sparse and patchy. She’s worked magic and made them look full and healthy again. Having someone tattoo your face is not a decision to be made lightly. I am so glad I took the jump with Hallie a few years ago now. She made my naturally blonde eyebrows pop while still look natural and not "made up," per my request--when you average out the time and hassle not spent doing eyebrow makeup every day, it is a huge value. Since then she has done a couple of touch-ups for me as well. I will continue to go back to Hallie!

Hallie is incredible at what she does. She really took time to listen to me and what I was wanting to do with my brows. I have quite uneven brows and she did a masterful job and creating perfect lines that look lush and natural! She is totally professional and her space is immaculate! I have to admit I'm a huge needle phob but when my eyebrows disappeared I was desperate. My daughter-in-law did all the research for me and we found Hallie. I cannot begin to tell you how professional she is. She measured my brow line, stenciled the shape we decided on and the color best for me. She numbed my brows and in 1.5 hours I had the most gorgeous new brows. A month later I returned for a slight touch up in a small area where the dye didn't completely take. I wish it were possible to give more stars to Haille, 4 just isn't enough. I've spent so many years self conscious about my lack of eyebrows; spending countless hours trying to draw them to perfection, to no avail. Then I met Haille, and boy did she change my brow life around! Seriously, she turned them into a work of art. Not only do I save time everyday, but I feel so confident and bold with my new brows. -You can feel just a small amount of " scratches " however if it ever got to be " too much "I'd let her know and she'd put more numbing cream on.

In LOVE with my brows. Thank you, Hallie. They've never been very defined and because of an injury in my teens, my left brow is scarred, so it's short. I'm thrilled. The process was explained in great detail and professionally. The procedure was relatively painless (it is microblading, you know, but they use a topical numbing ointment). I was in and out within 2 hours. I highly recommend this service, last up to 2 years!

Hallie is amazing. She's an artist in every way. She walks you through the whole process and shows you what your brow shape will look like before you get started. She'll let you work with her to get the exact shape you want. She shows you a few colors on your skin to determine what will be best. The whole process was great for me! I just had my touch up and I couldn't be happier with what she did for me.
