Over the years, I've painted and sculpted my way through retail makeup, working behind the scenes for runway shows, commercials, fashion editorials, designer photo shoots, and glamming celebrities for red carpet appearances. I've developed a signature look, and, truuust, I've discovered some beauty hacks along the way.

Tamra is an amazing makeup artist. I love that she’s worked everything from Hollywood red carpets, to corporate events, to weddings. For me, she did my wedding and had me and my bridesmaids looking absolutely stunning. She did a dry run with me three weeks in advance to ensure that I was comfortable with my wedding day look. That gave us a chance to discuss what I wanted in detail and test various color options and combinations. I was looking to book a last-minute makeup application and really appreciated Tamra's short-notice/squeeze scheduling option (same week notice) that she provides for a reasonable additional charge. Her portfolio is stunning, and Tamra provides detailed instructions and requests detailed prework questionnaire responses and photos, which made it easy to trust her expertise. I had never applied a full face of makeup before, and I appreciated her proactive questions (e.g. did I want to avoid mascara, was I comfortable with eyeliner etc.) and sensitivity to the available lighting during her makeup application

Tamra did a makeup trial and bridal makeup for me for my elopement day at City Hall. Three words I'd use to describe Tamra: efficient, professional, and talented!! Tamra was able to travel to me to do the trial and day-of makeup and I was super happy with my look (which stayed for 12+ hours). Tamra made me feel and look fabulous for my business photo shoot. Tamra is incredibly talented. She did my makeup quickly and perfectly when meeting me for the first time. She was punctual, took all the covid precautions and gave me guidance beforehand on what would look good on camera. Had a wonderful day with Tamra yesterday. I hired her based on a glowing recommendation from a friend and was not disappointed. Covid presented the known challenges but they did not get in the way of her artistry, professionalism and expertise. She was very careful about using disposable applicators, and minimized talking during the process. All and all a fantastic photo shoot.

Tam is an amazing artist! I am very particular with my make up because I know EXACTLY what I like and dislike. I saw some of Tam's work online and booked her without a trial - I had a feeling she'd be an amazing fit with the natural look I was going for. And I LOVED my make up. Tamra did my makeup for my first every professional photo and film shoot. I'm not someone who wears a lot of makeup, and she was so good at making me feel comfortable every step of the way, even finding creative workarounds when I couldn't wear eyeliner, for example. She seamlessly transitioned from getting me ready for film to fixing me up again for video, and made me feel more beautiful and comfortable on camera. She's such a pro, and she taught me useful tips and tricks that I'll be able to use in my everyday makeup wear too. I hope to work with her again soon!

I hired Tamra to do my makeup for my 40th birthday party. All of our communication was through text. Tamra has such a personable personality, that I never once felt uncomfortable around her.

Tamra is a very thoughtful and conscientious person which has made her an absolute pleasure to work with as someone who is a complete makeup newbie. She's thorough and has great ideas. Her execution is wonderful. I just finished a trial with her and my mom and sister really liked the outcome when they saw it over 6 hours later. Tamra is my go to Make Up artist in the Bay. Anytime I need my Face "Beat" as she'd say, she's who I call. I sit in her chair and let her work her magic. Tamra beat my face silly only wedding day. Then she went on the beat my mom, sister/MOH and MIL. We were gorgeous!!! Since she works in the fashion industry she did my makeup for the timeless pictures. She knew contouring, color and shading to make sure that I was flawless from every angle. She provided a consultation prior to the wedding and arrived on time for a 6am call time. Because she is a perfectionist each woman in my party had enough time for the perfect face. There was no rushing. Tamra is a professional and it was such a pleasure to work with her.
