Services
Dr. Ben Scherer is a podiatric foot and ankle surgeon. He completed a three year comprehensive surgical residency in Chicago, IL with emphasis on foot and ankle reconstructive surgery and diabetic limb salvage. As a collegiate athlete, he developed a special interest in preventative medicine and treatment of sports related injuries.

Dr Toby Ishizuka is a Board Certified Foot and Ankle specialist. He specializes in clinical and surgical care for both simple and complex foot and ankle problems. Dr Ishizuka was raised in Honolulu, HI and attended the prestigious Punahou School. He received double bachelor's degrees in biology and in psychology with Cum Laude honors from Gonzaga University in Spokane, WA, while also publishing his undergraduate research in invasion biology.

I believe many had great experiences here, but sadly mine was not one of those experiences. I was to undergo a small procedure to remove an ingrown toenail. The doctor had numbed my foot to the point where I couldnt walk very well, used maybe 7-8 different sites to numb. However, there was still a lot of pain from starting the procedure. I was a almost at the point of passing out from pain. Regardless, we did not do the procedure, and I was supposed to apply a medication. They never sent the prescription to my pharmacy. I will give 2 stars as they were kind and got me a coke when I was on the brink

Honest assessment, no pressure selling the nuclear option, recommendation was for non-nuclear option, and friendly staff. Dr. Sam has the kindest personality one could have while dealing with bad toe pain. And he gave fair warning and helped me laugh through the anasthesia shots I needed to have for my procedure. I know I'm a wimp with needles, and I fully admit it, and yet he was not judging me at all. His compassion is so appreciated, and he is truly a pleasure to be around. He made my procedure as swift as possible and was encouraging through the follow-up.
I wish I could find more doctors in other fields with his kind compassionate care and thoughtfulness. I highly recommend Dr. Sam!

Everyone I met here, from receptionist , to medical assistant, to the Doctor himself are nice, take their time,and are professional yet personable.
What else shall I say?

Dr. Sanandaji is amazing! He took such great care with my foot and he relieved me of a painful condition I had suffered with for years. His expertise, his tender kind manner and his staff are all top notch. I did a lot of research before choosing the Foot Center for my surgery and treatments. I live in Santa Barbara, a full hour and a half North of the Foot Center, yet I chose them because they are the best.
I cannot recommend Dr. Sam enough. He is WONDERFUL!

I've only been once to The Foot Center and Dr. Sanandaji, but so far so good. I was able to make an expedited appointment which was important because of the pain I was experiencing.
Staff were friendly and efficient. Most importantly Dr. Sanandaji was thorough, articulate and reassuring. But like I said, so far so good, we'll have to wait to see if the foot issue is resolved.

Just discovered Dr. Noreen Oswell and the great crew at The Foot Center a couple of months ago, when my middle-aged feet started singing the blues. Luckily, Dr. Oswell was able to diagnose a couple of different issues that I have going on, and we put a treatment plan in place that is making a real difference, although it's going to take some time to get back to "normal."
I learned a couple of valuable things from my time at The Foot Center:
1) Dr. Oswell and her team are top-notch and make you feel like a member of the family. She's got a great "bedside manner."
