The idea behind Red Caboose Winery started with a concept in the mind of Owner Gary McKibben. He wanted to combine the Old World traditions of winemaking with new sustainable practices, working hand in hand with nature while creating irreducible infusions. McKibben continues to experiment with flavors at the new distillery under the same name and has even moved to craft beer.

Red Caboose offers a diversity of settings and options to fit your need; from a simple wine tasting with appetizers, to a business luncheon or an elaborate meal, complete with wine pairings and music.

With your membership, you will be entitled to free tasting or a glass of wine with each trip to our winery. You will also receive a 15% discount on all of your wine purchases. This afternoon we decided to take a drive to Clifton, and found the “Red Caboose Winery.” We were very surprised at how incredibly friendly the place was. We engaged in the wine tasting and in the wonderful conversation with the host and customers. I must say that the; “Jan” Tempranillo; La Reina Tempranillo; and the Tanach were my favorites. Such incredible flavors and very smooth. I loved my experience and can’t wait to return with our friends.

I am so glad we stopped here! Met some friendly locals and got to chat with the manager. The wine was fantastic. We tried reds. They will not disappoint. A hidden gem for sure! They have won a lot of awards for their wines. They also have sandwiches and cheese and meat plates. Make sure you stop here! It's worth it!
