A brief description of the types of lenses and variety of frames available at Blue Ridge Eye Associates in Harrisonburg. We offer next-business-day service, including non-glare lenses, on many eyeglass prescriptions. We also fill many outside prescriptions. Let us make you look good and see great! Selecting your lenses and frames is a very personal choice.
There are a number of reasons why you might prefer contact lenses to standard eyewear: a glasses-free look, hassle-free vision correction, wearing non-prescription sunwear and goggles, or the convenience of not having to worry about misplacing your glasses. If you have a high prescription or astigmatism, contact lenses may provide more enhanced vision correction than glasses.

Great visit. She really took the time with me to explain my prescription and get my input. I loved that she had "glasses" that she slid lens with my Rx into so I could see what my glasses would be like before investing hundreds of dollars into a pair. So glad to have finally found an optometrist who treats me like part of the treatment team. I had started to think I had to choose between an optometrist conglomerate that I'd never have the same doctor twice and the eye techs did more of the exam than the doctor or a patronizing doctor who just tells me they know best. Diane was awesome.

You’ll enjoy a visit with her as much as a friend of the family. She was extremely thorough. Working with Wally for my glasses has always been great too.
