Dr. Osnat Kuyunov was born and raised in Tel Aviv, Israel and moved to New York at the age of fourteen. She attended Yeshiva University, where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Biology, graduating Summa Cum Laude. Dr. K went on to receive her Doctorate of Dental Surgery at Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine, where she was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the National Dental Honor Society.

My one and only just started the orthodontist process...we are committed for the next 1 1/2-2 years! From the point of making the appointment to x-rays and finally having braces put on, I am pleased to say that it was a pleasant experience for both my daughter and I. Dr Sandman and his team were very thorough and the appointments started on time which is a rarity when you go to any doctors office! Dr Sandman's personality is so easy going and he uses humor and pleasantries to make one feel at ease which is very important when going through a stressful unknown process.

If I could give dr. Sandman more than 5 stars I would!!! He is absolutely amazing at his work and is great with his patients. For how bad my teeth were he never had a doubt that I wasn't going to get the straight teeth I always wanted. In the 17 months I had with Invisalign I never had an issue. During appointments him and the assistants actually listen to you if there are any issues, they tell you exactly what they are doing during your appointment, etc. The process of getting everything set after the first appointment with the xrays and what not is so smooth. I would absolutely highly recommend

Dr. Sandman is a great person who I looked forward to seeing every month during my adjustments. As an older patient I was nervous to get braces and asked a lot of questions; he always took the time to reassure me and alleviate any concerns I had.

Couldn't ask for anything better! My teeth look amazing after 15 months.! I had the greatest experience and I love everyone that's working here.! They always very helpful and friendly. Dr. Sandman has been my orthodontist throughout my orthognathic treatment. The office is about 45 minutes away from my house and every drive and traffic light was worth it. I have been to my fair share of dental specialists and physicians, and Dr. Sandman and the team are far and away the best. The team works fluidly with each other to make sure you get everything you need. Even when it's a busy day at the office, they make you feel like you are the most important person in the room! Every individual is friendly, kind, and helpful.

Dr Sandman and the entire staff at Bergen Orthodontics are truly the Best in Bergen County. EVERY single member of the team is professional, accommodating and truly NICE and FRIENDLY. My son is a late starter in braces, and has an underbite. Dr. Sandman not only took his time during the consultation, I never felt rushed; he addressed my sons concerns and actually took the time to truly LISTEN. Dr. Sandman is really THE Man! Both of my children's teeth have been in his care for the past few years. It all started with my younger son's cross bite getting fixed, followed by my older son getting braces and then the little guy's braces.

We are a family of 4 children who all needed orthodontic work. We are so happy to have found Dr Russell Sandman. His demeanor, sense of humor and gentle words of encouragement are what make him so wonderful to work with. My 3 eldest now have straight teeth and beautiful smiles. My last child will soon be there. Dr. Sandman and the staff at Bergen Orthodontics are simply the best. Our daughter started orthodontic treatment with Dr. Sandman six years ago and had a wonderful experience. Our son finished his treatment last year, and both still enjoy going back for retainer check-ups. The office is clean and modern, with state-of-the-art equipment. I'm about to turn 25 soon and i Just got my braces off after having them on for just about a year. After being called every name in the book since my childhood I thought it was time to finally do something about my teeth. I had the absolute worse self-esteem because of how improperly positioned my teeth were. After doing an extensive search of a great orthodontist, I ended up going to Dr Sandman. It was the absolute best decision I have ever made in my entire life. I probably could have gotten invisalign at my job if I wanted a quick fix, but would the results guarantee a lifetime of happiness

Great experience at Bergen Orthodontics. My son's braces are off and his teeth look amazing! We arrived at my son's 1st appt. less than 2 years ago and were welcomed by a professional staff who were at ease working with my teen with sensory and auditory processing challenges. Dr. Sandman expected great results, and was comfortable individualizing his treatment plan to minimize stress while enlisting my son as a team player. He was responsible for complying with rubber bands and good hygiene practice and the staff made him feel great about his compliance.
