Tokyo Sushi & Hibachi

If you would have told me that the best place to get Shushi in Pennsylvania was a little hole in the wall in Latrobe, I would probably thought you were kidding. That all changed after I visited Tokyo Sushi and Hibachi a few years back.
The highlight for me is their Sushi. They have a huge selection of Sushi rolls of all types, all rolled fresh to order. I've tried a handful but my favorite by far is the Shrimp Tempura. These rolls are incredibly flavorful and are huge! My typical order us 2 rolls and I'm full by the end of them. My girlfriend enjoys the Spicy Shrimp Rolls. She adds for cream cheese

I frequent this place often and am rarely disappointed. Reasonable prices (many lunch specials available and combo plates). I love their sushi, hibachi dinners, and lunch bento boxes. There have been a couple inconsistencies in the past with my meals but easily overlooked for the quality they offer far more regularly. Only asian place in Latrobe that offers hibachi and sushi, as far as I'm aware. That alone makes it a gem. Currently take out only, I wish they'd open for dine in again.

Fantastic sushi! We ordered the Scorpion roll and the King Kong roll and both were amazing! Slightly disappointed that we couldn't dine in as they are still following Covid rules

Can't beat the price and quality in the area. We've always done take out, so I can't comment on dine in service, but our orders are always fresh and fast.

Our food was 25 minutes late, totally flavorless and there was a hair in our hibachi. Definitely not worth $85

Food is great, priced really well! They just consistently take about 20 minutes longer than the quoted time on pickup orders, so plan for that. Worth the wait!

This place was great when it first opened. Unfortunately, our last 3 orders have been messed up. First they forgot our calamari and since they staple the bag shut, we didn't realize until we got home. Since they don't deliver and we were not driving back out, they offered 2 free orders of calamari in our next order. Then they forgot to put any Wasabi or ginger in our sushi order. They offered a discount on our next order but then tried not to honor it. They ultimately honored the discount but put seeds in all of our sushi, even the pieces that don't usually have seeds, despite my husband saying

I love General Tso’s Chicken and Shrimp Teriyaki. They look so beautiful and taste so good that I recommend everyone try them!
