Luckily, there's help. The best time to protect your assets is before a divorce is filed, when you have better access to records.
If you are married, spousal support will be an issue in your divorce. If you had a child with your ex, you may be able to get child support, or you may have to pay child support. We can help you understand the situation and get the right support orders. Spousal support is the payment that a Court may order one spouse to pay another spouse when a couple gets divorced.
The first step is often calling the police to report an attack, or worse, being rushed to the hospital with an injury. Should this happen it will establish that something is terribly wrong and needs to be dealt with immediately. The result may be a restraining order that prevents you from being contacted or approached by the person hurting you.
