Some typical symptoms include pain when lifting an item, opening a door, making a fist, or straightening your arm. Hip pain can be the result of hip fractures in the pelvic bones or femur.

Please pray that you never have to go to the Wake Orthopaedics Urgent Care - Kildaire location on a weekend. Unfortunately, my recent experience at this location was a disaster. I took my son there to get treated for a shoulder injury and after X-rays were taken, during the diagnosis discussion, the physician’s assistant overlooked a clearly visible bump near the injured shoulder - until I pointed it out.
She then proceeded to order a CT chest scan, but I later was told by the radiology technician that it was the wrong scan to order, especially for a young teen. Come to find out that this type

Excellent overall. All the care providers are friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Service was lightning quick; basically there was no wait at all. Location looked brand new. There is also a regular urgent care attached, along with a hospital across the street.

I'm literally flabbergasted by the level of care my husband received last week. He had been dealing with severe and worsening back pain for over a week to the point that he was unable to walk or put weight on his one leg and ended up at the ER. He was then given an xray and referred to WakeMed Ortho. We were able to get an appointment in a couple of days by driving to the Garner office from North Raleigh. Upon arriving, we were put into a room, less than 5 minutes later Dr. Regan came in (having apparently reviewed the xray) and said that he was confident that we were dealing with a herniated

I initially saw Dr. Jenkins for wrist and elbow pain. I had been using a cane for approximately 2 yrs with considerable weight bearing on that extremity. I had a work injury which later required me to use the cane. The wrist and elbow were not directly involved in the work injury and were not nor required to be under my separate work injury care. The Dr. knew this and ordered xrays of these parts, consulted with me about the findings and the Dr. ordered a CAT scan of my elbow. He undertook treating both my wrist and elbow. After a 2nd visit discussing the results of the test/findings, it was agreed

Dr. Chappell is the best ortho I've had - and I've had 3 with surgeries dating back 20 years now. He took a complex history and gave me a direct plan (with options) on how to best manage my condition and pain. Hard to beat someone who has been one of the team docs for the Lakers, Dodgers and Kings. Easy to talk to - yet direct, which is one of the best qualities I look for in a physician. Can't go wrong with Chappell.

We are early in the process of healing a fractured ankle. My accident was on a Sunday. Monday morning they called to set up a visit with Dr. Harris Thursday and scheduled surgery Friday. My Thursday appointment was for 8:10 and they saw me earlier than that time. It had been less than one week do it is too early to know how the surgery outcome. I do appreciate the professionalism shown so far.

Three week postop update. Surgery went as planned and Dr. Harris did a great job on the sutures. The recovery for this is very long so hard to tell what the end outcome will be. So far my expectations have

I saw Dr. Nwoko for a hand injury. He and his staff were AMAZING! I ultimately had surgery and it as well as the after care were exceptional. Absolutely no complaints!!

Now, I am having issues with my back and am not receiving the same service from Dr. Regan or his staff. I plan to discuss this with him at my next visit and hope things improve. Maybe my expectations are too high after my experience with Dr. Nwoko...

Dr. Conor Regan recently treated my son for a broken arm. He was great with him when we first arrived in the ER. My son was upset, in pain and scared. Dr. Regan did a great job at calming him down. He also handled his follow-up care exceptionally well.

Dr woods has been great so far. The main problem is the office and no one ever answers the phone. It can ring up to 4 minutes before some one will pick up if they ever do. Obviously the office manager does not care because when asked she acted like she's never had this complaint before. I am going to start PT next week so will keep you informed on that part of the practice.

Dr Mark Wood is excellent. He and his staff strive for outstanding customer service. After two knee surgeries due to injuries, we recommend him to anyone and all. Our favorite office is Brier Creek, where the PT staff are ready to help you get back to normal.

This practice is a disgrace. My husband was involved in a motorcycle accident, broke his leg and had surgery performed by Dr. Jenkins. Dr. Jenkins has no idea how to speak in laymans terms and I completely misunderstood my husband's condition. 4 days later he was seen by Dr. Wood. I'm not sure why Dr. Wood brought up treatment for a possible pending lawsuit but he did. I was disgusted. He wanted MRI's performed on both my husband's knees and said once he got the results, a course of treatment would be formulated. His office has had the results for over a week and Dr

Overall a great group of doctors. Dr. Wood ,in particular, was awesome with my son and his shoulder surgery. 6 months out he is able to do yoga with no problem. Highly recommend him and his very caring staff.

While the docs deserve higher ratings, this review encompasses the practice as a whole, including the 3 visits I've had at 3 different locations.

Wake Ortho is a big clinical group that is spread out over the county. They have several offices and even more providers with different specialties. With one phone line for scheduling. And that phone system is FAULTY. Just the other day I was calling to see if I could change my appointment date and the first 4 times I tried it just rang and rang and rang. I called one more time and the hold system actually picked up (where they guy says "thank

Full disclosure...I have never actually been to this doctors office. That is indeed why I chose to give them 2 stars. I was looking for an Orthopedist to get my foot checked out and came across these guys here on Yelp. I called yesterday to make an appointment and was on hold for 5 minutes. Who knows how long it would have actually been if I didn't hang up. Let me be clear, I was not on hold after speaking to an actual person. I was on hold after going through the prompts to make an appt. I called back a second time and this time, it rang about 15 times before I decided to hang up. Today

This group has been taking care of mending my busted up limbs since early October. It hasn't been easy for anyone in this process. Dr's and trauma surgeons are not the gods we try to make them to be, they are human just like the rest of us and subject to making snap judgment calls based on the facts as they know them and the immediate circumstances at hand.

There is still a long road to go down, more specialists to see etc, and this group is providing the best guidance and care they can under the circumstances.
