Built in 2005, The Lodge at Riverbend Retreat offers 3,600 square feet of luxury on the main and lower levels. The very best in South Haven vacation rental cottages. In addition to the spacious interior, there is over 2,200 square feet of outdoor deck and screen porches complete with hot tub and furnishings.
Both of our Cottages on the property offer two floors of living space and an array of amenities. The very best in South Haven vacation rental cottages. The main floors feature a great room with a stone fireplace reaching from the wood floor to the vaulted wood ceiling, two bedrooms, full bath, and fully equipped kitchen.
You may wish to start with a swim in our two large in-ground heated pools or relax in your own private hot tub on the spacious balcony of your cottage surrounded by giant oaks and overlooking a beautiful secluded view of the Black River. Walk down to the boat dock and motor your boat to Lake Michigan or paddle one of our canoes and explore miles of wooded river, marshes, and bogs.

We just had a wonderful vacation at South Branch Cottage at Riverbend Retreat. Everything was lovely--beautifully clean and set up as if just waiting for us to relax. The fireplace was all set up for us to light a fire the first evening, with lots of split, easy-burning wood next to it. The kitchen was all ready with every pot and pan you could wish for if you wanted to cook for yourself. The price was extremely reasonable for a whole cottage to ourselves. Bret was available if we needed anything, though we didn't have to call him for any help. The stars were bright at night. The view was beautiful
