I was born and raised in Boyle Heights. I am a proud Rough-rider Class of 1996 from Roosevelt High School. Received my Bachelors of Arts in American Literature at UCLA. Fluent in English and Spanish. State Farm Agent since 2009. I am currently serving as the Parliamentarian for the Boyle Heights Chamber of Commerce.
My agency received the Boyle Heights Exceptional Business Entrepreneur of the Year in 2018. Have sponsored various soccer and basketball leagues in the El Sereno, East Los Angeles and Montebello areas. Proud mother of three children. During this pandemic my agency has donated toiletries and gift cards to those families in need.

There were three employees there. Two were talking for more than 35 minutes acting like I wasn't even there. Every once in awhile they'd glance over, while the other one was helping another client. Once the other two got tired of talking; one of them left. That's how long I had to wait to be helped!!! Very bad customer service!!!

Ms Velasquez is such a blessing to our community. During this pandemic when we all needed some type of help she blessed our family in need.

She ignored my emails for weeks, finally got in touch with me and told me that she hadn't been responding because it was only a renters insurance policy not a homeowners policy, hung up on me, and made it hard to get in touch. Its not only that she couldn't get the policy I ordered from her done, its how rude her staff was in the process. It's not only that she does a bad job its HOW she does the bad job: rude, sloppy, and too little too late.

When I first signed up for State Farm my Agent messed everything up and never responded to my emails.
I then switched to Zulema who was on the phone with me within an hour of me emailing her fixing my issues and explaining everything step by step. She is amazing and so professional. She genuinely seems to care about her clients, which is so great!

I've had State Farm for over four years and I recently changed my state farm agent to this location because of convenience. Great first experience, but when I received my first bill I was getting charged more and when I went in person to try to figure out why. I received horrible customer service as well as no one was able to explain to me why my monthly bill was higher.
