Our lakefront resort is located on the West Shore of Houghton Lake, MIchigan's largest inland lake. We have 11 rental units available for for vacationers. Lakefront units with kitchens, crowave, and charcoal grills. Campsites for self-contained units only. We offer a safe sandy beach, shallow swim area, great fishing, boating and water skiing, long dock with boat anchoring.
We have shuffleboard, we rent paddle boats, water bikes, paddle boards, boats & motors. We have volleyball, horseshoes, swings and slide, children's riding toys, a large game room with pinball machines, pool table, jukebox & video games. Also a fish cleaning room & freezer. We now have free wireless high-speed Internet available.

Very rude. Hung phone up on me. Called and made reservations , said shed send me info on deposit and stuff in mail. Never received anything. She called very hostile wanting to know if I was still coming. Told her I didn't receive anything and she got very angry and argued with me saying she didn't say she'd send anything and hung the phone up on me. Wow not a people person at all. Very unprofessional!! Would never stay there.

When the owner found out we would be arriving late, she was very rude bordering on hostile. I offered to stay elsewhere that night if it was too inconvenient, but she instructed me to pull into a particular spot and see her in the morning. When we arrived close to midnight, there was a car parked/blocking the spot. No other campsites were open. So there we were, stuck at midnight. NEVER AGAIN.
