Probably 50% of all marriages will end in divorce. Most marriages will end because the parties have just grown apart. Texas is a "no-fault" divorce state which basically means - we are getting a divorce because we do not like one another anymore. In general, most divorces are granted on the no-fault basis.
The following outline briefly describes the divorce process as it generally occurs in Texas. It is provided here in order to help you better understand the chronological sequence of a divorce case. Your case may or will be different from the one described below. Texas does not recognize a "legal" concept of separation as some other states do.
If you withhold visitation because a spouse will not pay his or her child support, you are taking the law into your own hands and may be held in contempt of court. In an Agreed divorce, the lawyer's role is limited to preparation of pleadings, waiver of service, the divorce decree, and closing documents. Because of this, legal fees are substantially reduced. The basis for the divorce is "discord and conflict of personalities which destroy the legitimate ends of the marital relationship" - a no fault divorce.

He charges 1500 for Annulment and divorce, even if there is not Children or property involved. Then, because I didn't do a contract with him, after I mentioned that I want to call around first.. he said to me " your best bet is to go get a loan and find someone else " as if I dont have the money.. smh.. well ... guess what.. I have the money, and I found a cheaper lawyer too, 1000$ cheaper. Yes , I'm a Black woman that makes great money don't mean I have to spend it on over price things.
