Vaughan Dance welcomes all children ages 2-18 who are interested in dance. Services
Your tuition will be conveniently and accurately charged to your debit/credit card (Visa, Master Card, American Express or Discover) monthly. Tuition will be deducted on the 1st of each month. Charges on your bank statement or credit cards statement will read as Vaughan Dance Academy. All accounts will be automatically signed up for auto-deduction at registration.
Predance is offered to students ages 2-6, and is intended to be an introduction to dance technique. Attire: Pink Ballet Slippers, Black Tap Shoes, Pink Tights, Black Leotard Hair needs to be secured up in a bun, ponytail or braids. Our ballet classes consist of classical ballet technique in Cecchetti Method.
Schedule and Programs: Schedules of the Rehearsals and Recitals along with copies of the program will be emailed the first week in March for you to proof. Please read through the schedules and programs to make sure your student has enough time for costume changes and to make sure that your student's name is properly spelled.
INNOVATION is a pre-professional dance company, whose mission is to provide an excellent dance education through structure, discipline and technique. It is a place where both the students and instructors are passionate about dancing. A few years ago we had to switch dance companies due to our old one closing. After searching for months, trying out classes, auditioning at different studios we decided to settle down at Vaughan Dance Academy where my daughter joined their competitive team Innovation Dance Company. Each day and each year goes by and I know 110% that we made the right choice. My daughter has grown so much not just in dance but in many other things including being organized and losing the anxiety that she used to have. The teachers are amazing here and make sure each girl gets the amount of attention and help that

A family owned dance studio that truly cares for your family. We have been a part of this dance family for over 5 years now and could not be more pleased with the care and consideration given to each student. The teachers know each child's name and ability. They work with each dancer to promote their individual strengths and develop skills that will last them a lifetime. We have been witness to improvements made over the years to help the business grow and develop into a positive contributor to our community. Not our cup of tea. This studio is more for socialization/recreational. Teachers do not enforce proper technique and gave me the impression of being lazy. They claim "Instructors trained in dance at Julliard," which is not true. The founder was trained at Julliard but no longer teaches. She's retired. They go to dance competitions where they know they will do well and shy away from better competition.
They have a reputation for losing their best dancers due to the student or parent finding better studios from either word of mouth or going to dance competitions.

We are very happy with our decision to send our daughters to Vaughan Dance Academy. We were looking for a dance school with a great reputation in both dance and the community in general. We wanted a school that focused on bringing out individual talents of a child. Many schools we researched were more focused on strictly winning competitions than teaching dance. With Vaughan, not only did we get an award-winning dance school but a school that moves beyond "winning competitions" and works on teaching the children how to love and enjoy what they do. It is truly a blessing to have your children around
