Services
Our practice is focused on divorce and family law cases only. Some firms believe they can do many different types of law and still successfully represent their clients. Unfortunately, attorneys who don't focus their efforts are often at a disadvantage in the family law courtrooms. The law changes, judges rotate in and out, and each courthouse has its own dynamic.
First, the parents can agree on any terms of child custody and visitation that they believe would work best for their children and, so long as this agreement is not against "public policy", the family court will likely approve their custody agreement. When the parents cannot agree on the custody and visitation for their children, the courts look to the "best interests" of the children.

Natalia V. Jeffs has been practicing law for 18 years, 16 of which were devoted specifically to the practice of Divorce and Family Law.
