Over the past 25 years I have been offering Kitchen & Bath design classes throughout the area. I am a big believer in educating people so that when they go and get the remodeling process started they will have the knowledge and understanding to make smart decisions throughout the process.
Covered in the classes include cabinetry, appliances, tops, lighting, plumbing, flooring, and also the theory of design including the study of the triangle method.All of the classes are held in a non-pressure class room setting and a schedule can be found on this website. Over the past 2 years I have phased out the traditional showroom concept and have shifted into a Loft studio.

We hired John to help redesign a basement renovation. Initially things were fine, but as the project went on John began to withhold information relating to the design and was not providing any support despite saying he would do the contrary. John has a hard time with constructive critiques and ultimately likes to do things his way, and certainly not to his clients' liking. I cannot in good conscience recommend John as a designer and would encourage you to look elsewhere for design services.

Our 35 year old kitchen was in serious need of updating and we wanted a completely new, open look. John came up with a fantastic design that opened the kitchen to the dining room and another room making for a great open floor plan. We first met John at one of his seminars -- we were impressed by his passion and knowledge. We hired John to completely redesign our kitchen, bath, and laundry while serving as our project manager. Our vision was to have John design a modern European look that was functional.
John exceeded our expectations in all areas --- design, quality of contractors, and vendors we dealt with, whom John had known for years. He kept us informed on all aspects of the project, was readily accessible when we needed him, and never rushed us when decisions were needed.

We hired John to help us a design a more modern, updated kitchen that would still flow well with our more traditional house. I was a little nervous that the transitional style of the kitchen I wanted would look out of place in a traditional house with an open footprint. With John at the helm, we had nothing to worry about! John Hall, along with one of his prized contractors, Jim Huntington, did a remodel of our kitchen and two and a half baths, AND they managed and coordinated new flooring, lighting and painting throughout our 2600 sq. ft. house. We were 100% thrilled with every aspect of the job. We set time and dollar budgets at the start. John promised to watch both scrupulously and he did. He guided us through all of our choices — cabinets, appliances, plumbing, lighting, flooring — and worked seamlessly with Jim to keep the project on track.
