Naughty or Nice? Santa would say Naughty! Roy, you spent 15-30seconds (literally) with your flashlight looking into firebox and up the flue. You noticed the damper was broke. Then you proceeded to tell me that my fireplace should not be used and it shouldn't be swept because it would open up cracks in the flu. Then you proceeded to tell me it's OK to use the fireplace very small fire on a special occasion?? Doesn't that super contradict itself being that it's a fireplace and the risk of burning down the house? You then proceeded to offer your assistance in installing a insert

We hired Nostalgic's to install a gas fireplace. When we contacted them about an issue with the finished product, they were very unprofessional. In fact, they walked out in the middle of a discussion about our options, got in their truck and drove off. The installation is still not complete, as they were to come and attach the surround to the fireplace.

Roy and his team from Nostaglics sold the Avalon stove in our house to the home's previous owner. We've been here for almost 17 years now and have had Nostalgics out every other year for a sweep and an inspection. I'll tell you what, I sleep sound at night knowing that my family is safe and warm.
About four years ago we called Roy for fan options, he knew exactly which one we needed and put it in on his next sweep.
