This isn't the type of Light House used for navigation - it's the type of Light House that has been designed to capture the light and the incredible views from the site. Here in Northwest Washington, we really crave light and this house really captures the light and the owners will enjoy that sunny feeling all year round - the house's many windows turn this into a lantern.
We all dream of our just right home - however you define it. Creating a home designed to support the lives and activities of those dwelling there can be an enormously rewarding undertaking. Architects have important contributions to make to this process. I firmly believe that creating a new house for a client is a collaborative process between architect and client.

It's taken awhile to write this review, I have so much to say... Hiring an architect was one of the hardest parts of building a new home. We found the perfect lot and I had a vision of what we wanted there. We interviewed three architects and Carl blew us away. (He was also very busy with other projects.) So after meeting him, we knew immediately that we wanted to hire him for the house. Carl doesn't take on multiple projects, so we felt pretty lucky that he was able to take ours.
