Services
Throughout the day at New Discoveries, whether in small or in large groups, individually at free play or together at circle time, children become confident learners. When using gross or fine motor skills, they gain spatial awareness. Through hands-on explorations or using only their cognitive skills, they make sense of the world around them.
Our nursery offers an excellent setting for children six weeks through twenty-three months. We welcome our littlest learners into a gentle, nurturing environment where each child is respected and valued as a growing individual. Our nursery has been designed with infant safety and comfort in mind allowing infants to move naturally and freely.
In the event of inclement weather, New Discoveries Christian Child Care will follow the Springfield School Districts ruling on school closures and delays. We encourage parent involvement. Custodial parents may visit their child in the center during operational hours and may drop by for lunch with their child on any day.
Open 7:00 A.M. to 5:30 P.M. WE CAN NOT ALTERNATE DAILY OR WEEKLY SCHEDULES. Emergency Supply Fees may be charged when center supplies must be used. New Discoveries bills in advance on the first of every month through Brightwheel. A two-weeks' notice is required for any billing adjustment or withdrawal from the school.

Best daycare ever! My son has been at New Discoveries Daycare since he was 6 months old and I have gone back to work with peace knowing he is in the hands of wonderful people who truly care for him. He has learned to play with other kids, listen well, be on a structured schedule, take long naps, and so much more! This daycare is worth every penny and I would chose them all over again if I had to!

When I walk through the doors the atmosphere at New Discoveries is very warm and inviting. I do not worry about my son when I drop him off as I know he is being well cared for and his daily experiences are positive. He has learned so much and I am impressed with all his teachers. I feel blessed we are part of the ND family.

We toured several centers locally looking for the right fit for our family. Both our children have attended New Discoveries since Fall 2016 and we have been so pleased with our experience. Our kids have been in the Nursery, Early Preschool and Preschool classrooms all of which have been wonderful. The teaching staff are caring and communicative. The schedule and curriculum has really supported our children learning and with the recent re-model the facility is even better!
