The New Dream Child Care Center was founded in 2009 to provide a new community-based program for families who want the best quality child care available, and a whole-child integrated curriculum that is grounded in the context of our community. The Center is 3-Star Certified with SPARK, the Quality Rating and Improvement System that is managed by the Oregon Department of Education.

We are very proud of our facility as we've created spaces that are filled with natural light, order and beauty as well as open spaces that encourage children to delve deeper and deeper into their interests. Babies are born wanting to learn, like little naturalists. They explore their world by experiencing their environment through all five senses even before they can crawl.
Our snacks and meals are all fresh, locally sourced and organically grown and processed when possible. Meals are prepared on site in our commercial kitchen by our kitchen manager and assistant. We offer breakfast, lunch and one snack per day. Our menus are USDA approved.

Our daughter attended pre-school and pre-kindergarten programs, we love it! As we come to the end of the year we are looking for kindergartens and it is difficult to find a comparable kindergarten environment and education. I recommend New Dream to families of young children with complete confidence.
The Board of Directors at New Dream Child Care Center is drawn from committed individuals from all walks of life in our community. We are professionals and parents, but above all we share a common interest in the mission of New Dream. We believe that child care rooted in cultural education and environmental stewardship is the best way to nurture childhood curiosity and learning.

As a former employee, I feel like I have the most valuable information. There are no cameras inside the building. (Strike 1, see the signs outside telling you the opposite?) Understaffed, overworked, out of ratio. I was put in charge of 10 children after 2 hours of video training at 19. Kids have received lunch an hour late followed by a "snack" of raw vegetables and four ritz crackers. I was forced to serve this several times, and it was disgusting. The director showed up for two weeks of the six months I worked here. Children peed in the garden because we didn't have the staff to take them inside

I couldn’t be ecstatic about the programs that Andy and Jennifer have created at New Dream. My wife and I were hesitant to put our 1 year old in a day care program but after meeting the teachers and seeing his response to playing with the other kids we couldn’t be happier! Thank Jessica and everyone else working so hard to making this day care facility a great success

We moved to Eugene in January 2018, and were able to immediately enroll at New Dream. My daughter enjoyed the school, both the teachers and admin staff were wonderful and caring. She started in toddlers and then moved to Pre-K, and both classrooms were clean, safe, and educational. I wish there had been more bilingual education, but unfortunately we were enrolled during a period of staff transition and the bilingual program wasn't as structured as it could be (I have faith it will bounce back). Our family also greatly enjoyed the community events (fundraising dinners at local restaurants, plant

We used New Dream for 2 kids, both starting as babies and recently graduated one to kindergarten. It has been a wonderful experience with caring staff that do so much more than just watch the kids from drop off to pick up. They built a community there that learned to be curious and adventurous. We will surely miss them when we graduate the second kid in a couple years.

I absolutely adore New Dream. I was so appreciative I was able to get a spot there after all the centers I had toured before my daughter was born. My child was in the infant and wobbler room and I couldn't be more pleased with the care, warmth & communication of the teachers. The front desk staff are friendly and helpful. The facility itself is great, lots of eco-friendly inspiration and a progressive environment. We withdrew for a period of time but I feel so fortunate to have had my daughter there for almost a year and cant wait to re-enroll her in the near future.

I have loved being a part of New Dream as both a parent and staff member for the last 7 years. I’ve watched it grow and change in so many ways, and it’s been so exciting to see so many children move up through all of the classrooms. My children have always felt so cared for by their teachers, and they love going everyday and being with their friends!

I am so sad that my second child never got to experience the wonderful teachers at New Dream and that my first child will be cutting short her time by a year. She started at "baby school" when she was 11 months and she has loved it every step of the way. The staff is really communicative and caring. I loved that she played outside, rain or shine, had gardening class and Spanish class and ended up making friends with her peers.
I couldn't recommend this place enough. We loved the family that we were a part of for 4 years and are sad that we are moving out of town.

My infant has been a student at New Dream for 4 months. The infant room teachers, Lacey and Jeanine, have been absolute lifesavers to our family. The transition to day care was hard for us, but their kindness made it a lot easier than I expected. They are gentle and demonstrate patience. My daughter loves them! Sometimes I have the chance to spend a few extra minutes in class and I have met some of the other parents--they are also great. I really could not recommend New Dream enough!
