Monica Murphy has always known that she had a love for doing hair and make-up. At the age of 16 she enrolled at Forbes Road East Area Vocational Technical School for cosmetology. She completed her required 1250 hours of schooling and graduated near the top of her class, which earned her a scholarship to Pittsburgh Beauty Academy.

Monica did a wonderful job on my hair. I walked in asking her to dye it a very particular color red (which others before have had a hard time doing) with highlights and she got the color I wanted SPOT ON!
