Dr. Derek Gibbons is a Sacramento area native, and a graduate of the University of Western States. In deciding where to attend Chiropractic College, much research was done, and a number of schools were visited to narrow down the search.
The fact is, Dr. Gibbons could have attended any of the Chiropractic Colleges in the country, but decided to move from California to Portland where he could attend the institution which he felt provided the very best education available.After graduation, Dr. Gibbons moved back to the Sacramento area, and opened Advanced Chiropractic Center.

Our clinic is conveniently located off of Highway 80 at Greenback and Auburn Blvd., and has plenty of free parking. We offer treatment plans that include three stages of care, including the corrective stage (pain relief), the healing stage, and the strengthening stage (rehab). You can choose what type of plan you would like, weather you simply want to address your immediate needs, or you want to get out of pain for good.
You've decided to visit a chiropractor, but you're not quite sure what to expect on your first visit. The following page describes what happens in our office on the first chiropractic appointment. During your initial visit, you will sit down with the Chiropractor, and discuss the reason for your visit.
Our office is currently an "in-network" provider for most insurance companies. These companies include, but are not limited to, Anthem Blue Cross, Blue Shield of California, Kaiser Permanente, United Health Care and many more. In a couple of months we will be adding even more companies, including Western Health Advantage, at the request of our current patients.
