Varicose veins are very common. They generally appear as twisting, bulging rope-like cords on the legs, anywhere from groin to ankle. Fortunately, there are new and exciting treatments for varicose veins that make solving your problem easier than ever. Arteries carry blood from your heart to your extremities (hands, feet, head, skin), delivering oxygen deep into the tissue.
If you suffer from problems related to varicose and spider veins, you needn't feel alone. It is estimated that more than 80 million Americans suffer from some form of venous disorder. While some will seek treatment for cosmetic improvement, many are looking for relief from pain. Whichever category you may be in, help is available.
The Lux 1064 delivers energy into the blood and vessel walls, where it is absorbed by hemoglobin. With each pulse, the hemoglobin is heated by the absorption of energy, and the vessel coagulates and closes off. The constricted vessel then degenerates, and the treated leg veins typically disappear from the surface of the skin.
The ClosureFast procedure is performed on an outpatient basis. Using ultrasound, your physician will position the catheter into the diseased vein through a small opening in th skin. The small catheter delivers heat to the vein wall, causing it to shrink and the vein to seal closed. Once the diseased vein is closed, blood will reroute itself to other healthy veins.
When it comes to treating varicose veins and getting back to the activities you love, there's a new, nearly painless way. Varithena is a gentle microfoam treatment delivered in as few as 1-2 needle sticks. Patients reporting pain at the injection or application site in clinical trials was 4.0%. For most people, Varithena improves both physical symptoms related to varicose veins, and their appearance.

This is absolutely the best place, Melissa is so knowledgeable and precise about your skin care needs. Melissa takes her time and explains each procedure even if it’s an eyebrow wax, laser, and hyperpigmentation. Melissa is a perfectionist she takes her time with every procedure. I recently had several vein procedures on my upper and lower legs, the offices of Dr. Goldberg are so wonderful. Everyone is so professional and they work so efficiently. The ultrasound technician has been working with Dr. Goldberg for many years, Wendy and Melissa are so warm and welcoming, they would check in with me to make sure I was comfortable every step along the way. Where do I start? My experience at Vein & Aesthetics has been flawless! I am so grateful to be in the care of Melissa and Dr. Goldberg. They truly care about my health and ensured I got the right treatment for my venous reflux. Melissa is so lovely, wonderful to communicate with and makes you feel at ease. She’s also a master at laser hair removal, I’m amazed with the results I’ve seen in just three sessions. After suffering with often debilitating vein symptoms for several years and no solution, I was finally able to get the help and care I needed. I can’t recommend them enough!

Vein & Aesthetics of Tucson is all-around awesome. Melissa really knows her stuff. When the initial treatment didn’t get every capillary I wanted gone from my face, she tried a different one...and the result was terrific. Melissa also sat with me for a while and helped me cool down my skin from the laser treatment, rather than just sending me out the door with red skin. The price was extremely reasonable, and in my case, they said no charge for the follow-up when I asked how much I owed that day. They seem much more interested in doing a perfect job and in making clients happy than in trying

Not only were Melissa & Carli extremely attentive, but they gave amazing service and were so much fun to hang out with. Time literally flew during my appointment.
