I am currently a third party vendor that visits this facility weekly. The facility staff is always friendly and willing to assist with any needs for the residents. Management is available 24/7 to answer any questions or concerns I may have and willing to do whatever to make sure the residents needs are met!!

The facility is extremely clean and nicely decorated. However nursing care was very poor especially 2nd and 3rd shift. People that require assistance eating, cleaning etc would best be served by another nursing facility. The administrative staff and physical therapists are friendly and helpful but the nursing care is very poor.

Great customer service and care at Astoria Assisted Retirement. This is a wonderful place to share with your loved ones. The staff go above and beyond providing great care and communication. The movie theater, Surf shop with ice cream and terrace garden are a few of the fun things to enjoy at this facility.

Kudos. I give Astoria five stars for the excellent service that I have seen since my wife began her stay at the Astoria. The management team in good faith listens to our concerns and have always made real attempts at making things right. The staff are very professional in there and dedicated in caring for their patient residents.

We took my mother out of there after her first week. She ended up going to the hospital twice in that week in bad shape. While she was in the hospital someone stole clothes and jewelry from an 89 year old woman. How these people sleep at night I have no idea. Her dinner one day was a sandwich with a cheap piece of lunch meat, 2 pieces of bacon and a little pile of shredded lettuce. Please do yourself a favor, don't put your loved ones in there. They'll end up hospitalized or fleeced of their belongings.

An average day at Astoria Rehab Center is as follows: Don’t expect qualified staff for medical, only Hotel staff manning floor. Please document daily as I did. You will need later. Patient asked to leave or was going to die that night. Wife told them to send to hospital. Neither honored. Get your loved one out of there. I am now widow due to negligence and incompetent staffing. Therapies a joke. Business and reception staff very professional and much too good for this place. All a front. They deserve no stars. No one answers phone, cannot get status on your loved one. Find some place else. You

This is the worst place to put a loved one. All nurses have an attitude, and don’t do their job. My husband is in there for Rehab from a fall. Nobody helps him go to the bathroom, he wears a diaper and waits all day for someone to change it. I have complained to the supervisor and he is a joke. He says he goes to every room every day, that’s a lie. When you call the nurses they don’t return calls. Also he has been there 4 days and nobody has helped him get washed up or even comb his hair. I am going to report this place to my insurance. They just don’t care, it’s like everything else
