The electrocardiogram amplifies and records the tiny electrical signal which your heart makes with each beat. A simple but very useful tool. A test that uses sound waves that takes pictures of the heart valves and chambers, identifying abnormal structures and function. An ultrasound of the heart with the addition of agitated saline looking for abnormalities in the chambers of the heart.
Is a diagnostic test where a thin plastic catheter (tube) is inserted into the artery or vein (usually at the groin but can be in the wrist) and is used to measure oxygen content, pressure, and blood flow inside the heart. This tube is then used to inject dye into arteries so that X-ray pictures can be performed(Angiography).
Electrophysiology or EP is a branch of cardiology that deals with the diagnosis and treatment of heart rhythm disorders. EP cardiologists complete an extra year (or two) of training after their standard cardiology fellowship. An electrophysiology (EP) study is a test that records the electrical activity and the electrical pathways of your heart.
Cardiology Partners is staffed by scheduling personnel who will be happy to make appointment requests via telephone. Just call the office and provide us with the patient's name, contact information, and the desired service to be performed (consultation, test, etc). Cardiology Partners accept most major insurance plans, as well as Medicare and Medicaid.

I am a Hispanic professional who has an accent. Dr. James A Richardson an older Caucasian doctor at this facility, went in to letting me know he was against what was going on at the border. I told him I was not familiar as I didn't watch much TV. He asked how I got here and where I lived I told him I lived off of 287 and Eden Rd to which his response was oh, on the trailer park!! I find it offensive that he assumed I live in a trailer park and that he went in to telling me what he thinks of immigrants and how they don't follow the system. He spoke to me about the reason why I was there

Dr. Taylor was great, and, were it not for the management of the office, I would love to be a patient. However, on my first visit the office staff attempted to charge my co-pay three separate times over the course of an hour in the waiting room. My appointment and INR test were all performed on the same day - same visit. I was then billed for visits on four other dates. It took multiple calls to sort out mostly because they use a third-party billing company who do not have access to records and the ability to review such discrepancies.

My uncle had his first appointment yesterday, July 7th, 2021 with Dr. James Allan Richardson at Cardiology Partners in Mansfield, TX. I was told by my uncle that Dr. Richardson asked him where he was from and my uncle said Nigeria. With a chuckle, Dr. Richardson said "I hope you are not one of those people that climbed over the walls to get over here, isn't that ridiculous?" My uncle replied, "No, I have been here for a long time."
While my uncle said the doctor asked alot of questions concerning his health and the visit was completed, I for one don't believe that

I have been going to Dr. Richardson for over 12 years.
He's a great doctor, but desk girls, THEY ARE HORRIBLE. Rude. I understand it's a busy office however their behavior is unprofessional and unpleasant. They screen the calls, and send you to schedulers voicemail every time. When I was having chest pains I called the office everyday for three weeks!
Super frustrating and disappointing service.
I finally spoke with my primary care
doctor about my experience and she was completely shocked that a cardiologist office would put a patient at such a serious risk! She actually picked up the phone

My husband was scheduled for a stress test, he went and everything was fine that day. When he had to go to the follow up visit, Dr. Richardson informed us that he would need a cardiac catheterization. We waited for the appointment to be set. It was scheduled for November 19th. Mansfield Methodist called us so he would go in for the pre-op on the 17th. We did that then on the 18th I get a call that insurance has not authorized the procedure, naturally I call Dr. Richardsons office and the nurse has the gall to tell me, "I don't know why it wasn't authorized why don't you give them a call and see

Cardiology Partners is where my cardiologist is partnered with. Dr. Alan Taylor is one of the most wonderful health professionals I've ever worked with. The staff at Cardiology Partners is FANTASTIC! They are al so caring and helpful. They take care of their patients with care and sincerity. I will be a life-long patient. Recently, they are working on my legs performing ablations to help with eliminating a lot of fluid buildup.

I would not go here, they are not interested in taking care of you at all. I have had 2 appointments cancelled but they would help me find another doctor. The is the most unprofessional office I have ever been in. They waited both times right at the appointment to cancel. They don’t even deserve a star. I would rather die of a heart attack than to be seen by them. Find another place to go, they will cancel on you too.

It was okay for my first visit with Dr Rice who was very professional and caring. He did a heart Cath and I was looking forward to my followup appt but the day before I was informed by phone that Dr Rice would no longer be with the clinic anymore. I was so happy that I was now under good heart care. I was offered an appt with a Dr. Richardson and it was as different as day and night. Dr. Richardson did not really discuss my Cath results other than after I asked what was the percentage of heart blockage. I really did not know what questions to ask. I had requested a copy of my heart Cath results

For some reason my legs were extremely painful to the touch. My PCP sent me to a specialist. He told me all I could do is to wear compression stockings. I can't do this as I cannot get them on by myself. After a different test my PCP sent me to cardiology partners. Since then I have had three procedures done on my legs. I can now touch my legs!! I can walk so much better now. They no longer swell up like they did before. Dr. Saya has done more for me than any previous doctor. I am very grateful to him and his staff. The vein clinic staff are awesome and made me feel very comfortable during

The cardiologists in this practice are excellent. I see Dr. Taylor and love his bedside manner and sense of humor. The staff is courteous and always helpful. I do know they have had some challenges with returning calls in a timely fashion and they are working on that. Yes, it can be a long wait to see a physician in this group. That is the nature of cardiology. I would rather be sitting in their waiting room than be the emergency they are rushing to the hospital to see!

I have been following with Dr. Levi Rice for about 1 year. He is the Absolute Best! Hes very caring and compassionate with his patients. He explains everything and puts your mind at ease. I really do appreciate him. The office is very spacious and I think there are 5 other doctors who work there as well. If you get cold real easy or are elderly please bring a jacket or a blanket! It feels like 20 degrees in there. Staff are always kind and friendly.

I was scheduled for a stress test tomorrow, got a call at 11am today saying we would have to reschedule, insurance has not authorized yet. I am scheduled for Sinus surgery in 4 days & have to have this test first. Everyone at Cardiology Partners was aware of this. BUT authorization was not requested until today??? My insurance company said they need 2 business days. Cardiology Partners clearly dropped the ball on this. Now a surgery I have planned for 2 months has to be put off for months because they didn’t think it would be a problem getting it approved less than 24 hours a head of time. Now

Dr. Rice is extremely knowledgeable, concerned, but in a manner that puts the patient at ease. He has one of the best bedside manners I have ever encountered from a physician, and I've been around awhile! He is patient, listens, and gives practical advice. His assistants have been extremely pleasant and professional as well. I actually look forward to my six month visits, and with quality care, hope to make many more.

We've had the same experience that numerous other patients have posted about... the staff. Not helpful, do not return calls. It looks like the practice is aware of these complaints because there is a generic comment back to each complaint but obviously nothing is being done about the complaints.
No complaints about the provider however after surgery clearance we will be going to a different practice for continued care. Unless you are forced to see use this practice because they are the only ones with an available appointment before surgery (like us), stay clear.

Been going here for a few years. Not happy today though. I had an appointment for 2:45. They called me back to do vitals, ekg and pre appointment things on time. Then took me back to the examining room. After about 10 minutes the kicked me out in the lobby stating that it's not time for me. Not happy with this visit at all.

Dr. Taylor is a good doctor but the staff and support team is about as bad as it gets. They never answer the phone or return calls. When you have to call back after hours and get the doctor on call to get in touch with you they don't call back or at least this is the case with Dr. Rice. I'm talking that even over (2) days they still don't return calls. Dr. Taylor is a great doctor but I can't continue with his weak at best staff and associates. I will be changing over to Baylor Heart Hospital and starting with a new Cardiologist as that seems what I must do to get some decent care.

Called prior to an appointment to see if some medication was going to affect my appointment that I had that afternoon, they transferred me to an voicemail. Needing to know something then, I called back, no one would talk to me, just transferred me to another voicemail.
