Ramona Nursing & Rehabilitation Center
We know being around plants calm and soothe us, but did you know that they may also improve an older person's mental well-being? If there is anything that life has taught us, it's that emergencies can and will happen. We highly encourage you to read these tips to prevent senior falls and accidents in your home.

All of the staff members at Ramona are wonderful. The nurses, therapists, administrative staff, and countless others went out of their way to be kind, caring, and provide outstanding care. When our mother had healed sufficiently to leave, she was in the best health she has been in a very long time - and she could walk!
Services
I love challenges, so this is the perfect job for me. I receive satisfaction when I hear from our residents that our nurses do such a great job. Culinary arts have always been an interest for Michelle, and for eight years, she has brought her unique talent and skills to our facility. A jack-of-all-trades, Alvaro has been providing high-quality improvements and maintenance to our facility for twenty-two years.
With that said, we understand that it's difficult to be separated from your family members and loved ones. If possible, Skype, FaceTime or use other forms of visual communication to hear and see one another. Make sure to include grandkids, family members, and close friends in calls. Order a book, movie, game or anything else online and surprise your family member with a way to help them occupy some time.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. My father was in your care for the past six months. During that time, everyone, and especially the nurses in his room, have shown him tremendous love, warmth, and compassion. Even though he was fighting cancer, he was able to enjoy a wonderful quality of life because of you.
Suggestions and recommendations for changes in the facility rules may be submitted in person or in writing to Ramona Nursing & Rehab administration. Ramona Nursing & Rehab has a vibrant atmosphere with dynamic, individualized activities that match the capabilities and needs of patients and their guests.

This place is horrible. They had 5 different administrators while i was there. Each one of them just as corrupt as the one before. They kicked me out with no where to go, which is against Medicare guidelnes.
They try to get people to pay the 20% the medi-cal is supposed to pay. Which is also against the law and Medicare guidelines.
They need their funding to be taken away. It's a shame because anyone who is good that works there ultimately quits or is fired. I couldn't believe the abuse that I saw going on there. Please anyone with family at this faciltiy, move them out. If you love your family

The administration at this facility needs to make sure that all of their staff follow the same guidelines and provide accurate and current information to the family members.

Staff and management does a horrible job communicating with each other regarding the patient's needs. They would constantly leave my family member soiled without any change and would always give him the wrong food items disregarding the fact he was diabetic. After speaking with the staff trying to understand the pandemonium it was apparent there was drama going on between the staff trying to hold each other responsible for job duties and no management to manage. A lot of the staff members are very unproactive when asking them questions they don't care to give you any answer, their common response

If you care about your loved one, you will try to get them in here. An old facility in an old neighborhood. But extremely well run, clean, well organized with a well trained and friendly staff.

Facility is clean. Staffs are caring and attentive. There are activities happening daily.
Administrator Travor is a personable person. He is involved with patients, patient's family and staff. Travor is always visible and reachable. He is also very resourceful.
Location of facility might not be the best. One can't judge a book by it's cover.
