The Department of Children & Families is recommending that all individuals wear a mask while in the childcare setting, but they are not enforcing this recommendation. Red Balloon has made the decision to do the same. We are recommending that all staff and anyone entering the buildings wear a mask whenever they are in contact with the children.

At this time, we will not be strictly enforcing this recommendation for those that have been fully vaccinated, but we will continue to encourage it. Explore the enrollment options for your family, see tuition rates, and read about a typical day in one of our Red Balloon classrooms. Get a little more information about our administrative team, our incredible teachers and assistants, and our support staff.
Services
Our goal is to provide high-quality care to your infant or toddler by hiring the most loving and nurturing staff. We provide safe and healthy environments with attention given to space, room atmosphere, and content of play equipment. We provide a nurturing environment and trains staff for babies so that your baby doesn't have to wait for attention when it's needed.
Come play with us! All of our staff are educated and trained in Early Childhood and are members of The Registry of Wisconsin. Let us show you what an impact a high-quality group child care center can have on a child's development in these crucial early years. My name is Susan Lucey, I am the Financial/Program Director at our Onalaska location.

First, let me say, the RB teachers are FANTASTIC! These teachers know their stuff and I so appreciate them. Management on the other hand... is rude, aggressive, and unhelpful. When the CDC changed the mask guidance I noticed that RB teachers were not wearing masks but that the family-facing communication still required masks. I asked the administration and got a very aggressive response, including from the treasurer who was rude, snarky, and offensive. They said that their accreditation recommended but did not require masks. I checked out the accreditation and asked the county what the local guidance

If I could give zero stars I would..if you want your child in a safe place where they are well taken care of I would look elsewhere unfortunately..

My daughter has learned a lot since she's been here for just a couple months. Play area and playground are nice. The area next to the Windows could use some cleaning/organizing. All the staff are very friendly, however, most won't speak unless you speak to them first which isn't too welcoming at times. Those two reasons are why I'm giving a 4 instead of a 5. Other than that, everything has been great! My daughter loves it there!

Aweful place! Most of the staff are too busy on their cell phones to interact with the children. My daughter will no longer be attending Red Balloon ASAP. We are on every waiting list we can, just to get out of there. If I could give it 0 stars I would.
