The goal of all schools is to academically prepare their students for the challenges they will face in their future. That is a major focus of what we do, but Milwaukee Lutheran High School is committed to something greater: preparing students for a lifelong relationship with Jesus Christ. Students have the opportunity to learn the Truth in an environment where Christ is at the center of all our service to others.
Services
Thank you for taking the time to see what Milwaukee Lutheran has to offer students that is unlike any other high school. I know that there are a number of high school options available to you. Your decision in choosing a high school is one of the most important decisions made during the ages of adolescence.
Milwaukee Lutheran High School, established in 1903, is one of the oldest Lutheran high schools in the nation. It was originally established as a joint venture of the Missouri and Wisconsin Synods. The original association was not composed of congregations, but of individuals who had an interest in the cause for Lutheran education in Milwaukee.
Our Christian beliefs and principles permeate everything we do at Milwaukee Lutheran - from our required religion courses and chapel services to our curriculum and co-curricular programs. Administrators, teachers, advisors, and coaches seek opportunities to share the presence and power of Jesus Christ every day at our school.
Relationships are important, and Milwaukee Lutheran provides many opportunities for parents to get involved in the life of the school and develop new relationships and friends. EARLY RELEASE If you need to have your student released early, please Email attendance@milwaukeelutheran.org or call the attendance office (414) 461-6062 AT LEAST ONE HOUR IN ADVANCE.
I am proud to serve the three high schools that make up the Association: Milwaukee Lutheran, Lake Country Lutheran, and Martin Luther. Our schools are dedicated to sharing Jesus, shaping lives, and developing leaders. If there is any additional information that I can provide or answer any questions, please feel free to email me or give me a call.

I am a current student at Milwaukee Lutheran and I have to say, it's really not a bad school. Sure there may be things that we as students don't agree with, but we're teenagers, there's always going to be something that we disagree with. That's life! The teachers are great! They are very dedicated to making sure we succeed and excel in any career setting we choose. In my opinion, its not the teachers who've forgotten their place, it's the students. The teachers do have their degrees, they're here to teach us!!!!! Not babysit. As students, our job is to work hard to accomplish great things. I love

Milwaukee Lutheran use to be a great school. It has its pros and its cons. Most people say its gone down hill since it was built but what they really mean is that they don't like all of the black people here. We are at an all time high academically and spiritually and sports. I'm a current student here and yes some teachers are seriously disrespectful to you but demand respect from their students which is totally not right, but its not a terrible place... i mean there is always public school.

Milwaukee Lutheran did have a bit to offer in diversity when it comes to the class selection. They have, or had (I'm unsure of what they're like now), a woodshop and home ec class. While some may not like chapel, it was surprisingly fun and interactive.
However, due to this school becoming heavily 'Choice' when I was there in 2006, I'd say it's not worth the price for a private school. There is nothing wrong with Choice students, but I feel like it's a waste to pay for private school if 80% of the students are going there for free. Which would explain why the school would be in decline and funds

I have a child that goes to Milwaukee Lutheran high school and I must say that this school is a nice school, but the teachers are so outspoken! I have never seen so much disrespect towards students a day in my life. I've heard remarks such as "I have my degree, I don't have to teach you." "Parents should be ashamed sending their child to school this way,who raised them!" And these are comments from ADULTS! Adults that are supposed to be teaching children, not down talking them! The principal, dean of students, and other administration knows how these kids are being spoken to and have yet to discipline
