Blepharoplasty is eyelid surgery in which excess eyelid skin is removed from the upper eyelid or the lower eyelid. The procedure is performed by an oculoplastic surgeon when excess eyelid skin weighs down the eyelid or there is moderate to severe wrinkling of the eyelid skin that contributes to premature aging.

Aging changes on the upper and lower lids occur because skin elasticity decreases with age and because volume loss occurs. Dr. Sitole went to medical school at the University of Missouri where she graduated in the top ten percent of her class. She was an invited member of the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.

I am so pleased with the surgical outcome done by Dr. Patel. I was well taken care of, it was a well-prepared staff of people, the surgical pain was completely controlled by the anesthesia, I took Tylenol the first day for pain, nothing needed after that, and outside of looking like a 'raccoon' for three weeks, it went well and completely corrected my drooping lids. I have not had one person ask me, if I am tired or looking like I am falling asleep, and even though I try not to be vain about it, I have had many nice compliments about how bright my eyes are! I am sure they have not seen them clearly

I came to see Dr. Patel because I had a squamous cell carcinoma lesion on my inner eyelid that needed to be removed, and my dermatologist referred me to her, an oculoplastic surgeon, to perform the closure post-MOHS surgery.
I am 31 years old and I was very nervous and skeptical that not only I had a skin cancer lesion, but its tricky location on my eyelid made it even scarier. My initial interaction with the staff at Littleton Eyes was awesome. Kelly at the front desk helped me feel more at ease in navigating this procedure, including handling my many phone calls to clarify insurance information

Horrible experience with this clinic. When I called to set up the appointment confirmed whether they accepted my insurance. The gal on the phone confirmed yes. I even asked twice because it's a particular part of Cigna that not a lot of people take. I was surprised she didn't ask for the member ID and asked her to contact me if my insurance won't pay. So two weeks later I drive 30 minutes from Stapleton in traffic and go and she has me fill out several pages of admission paperwork. Waits for me to get completely done to tell me that they do not accept my insurance...What?

Dr. Patel is fantastic! I have had issues with a blocked tear duct for years and finally decided to go forward with the surgery . I couldn't be more pleased with the process or the results. Every person I interacted with was knowledgeable, patient, and kind, and Dr. Patel made my surgery and all of the follow up as easy and comfortable as I could have hoped. Dr. Patel you are amazing ! I had a cyst on the corner of my eyelid for a year treating it like it was a stubborn stye with warm compress never to get relief or removal. Dr Patel removed this "Cyst" in 5 mins tops ! Small anesthesia needle (little sting) and then she did her little magic with her machine ! in seconds their was no blood no pain drove home with no problems ! Thank you Dr Patel you are. A God send .. making a very sensitive area and a very painful part of the body a simple process . Thank you so much .
