I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT 42569) and Sandplay Practitioner on the West Side of Los Angeles. I received my training from Pacifica Graduate Institute. My academic and post graduate training are firmly rooted in Jungian and psychodynamic theories and depth psychology. I am a analytic candidate in the final stage of training at the CG Jung Institute of Los Angeles.
The causes of upset and pain are not always easily identifiable. Many people get into therapy because they have feelings that are nagging at them, or because they are stuck in their life and cannot understand how or why. Often misplaced energy in the form of anxiety and/or depression can pull focus and drain a person of the energy they need to function and manage on a daily basis.

Manipulating, abusing or becoming dependent on alcohol, drugs, food, sex, love, people, work and/or gambling is the psyche's way of helping certain individuals navigate the discomfort of the everyday world.
