Being a business owner I think very hard about writing a negative review for another company. I called once today and it is the one and only interaction I expect to have with Rent A John. From the beginning to the end of the call the man on the phone seemed upset like I was purposely not able to answer his questions the way he wanted them, asked me why this was so difficult when I thought I was answering as quickly and accurately as I could. We were having absolutely great service and the unit was great, no complaints there! In the past couple weeks somebody forgot to provide maintenance service for a long stretch. This was not a big issue and should have been easily resolved with a phone call.
I've had to call twice to check up on the issue and both times I've called to make sure we were in the maintenance rotation, the person on the phone was very unpleasant. Talking to this person feels combative and like a painful slog.

We are a venue in Petaluma and received excellent service for a rehearsal dinner event.
They were professional, great pricing, delivery and pick up was on time and included a courtesy calls with a time of arrival. The porta potty was clean and well stocked. We were very happy with the service and plan to use them again.

I needed to rent a john for a big backyard event at the last minute. These guys were great! Most other places I called were out of state and required 48 hours notice. Also, none of the others actually answered the phone! It was super to talk to a real person and find their rates were also better than the big online companies. They were helpful and professional; delivered as scheduled and picked up promptly. Can't recommend them enough and will use them again!
