The staff is phenomenal - package room, security, front desk, and on-site management, all great.
The building itself has some serious problems. For the last 2 months for example, many of the biometric scanners that limit your ability to move through the building have simply been off, forcing residents to constantly use the intercom and wait for a front desk employee to buzz us through routine paths through the building.
The plumbing seems to be generally problematic as well with many units having foul stenches in the bathrooms due to poorly fit valves on the plumbing. I was told this was a

Great location in a quiet area of Brickell--for now--and great amenities but buyer beware (especially for recent transplants falling for hype who might be panic buyers).
The north side (01 and 02 units) currently is adjacent to a parking lot. Are you familiar with The Panorama building on Brickell Avenue?...imagine a twin tower Panorama in the parking lot right next to you, since Tibor Hollo (developer of Panorama) has plans to build a "twin tower" on that parking lot. Will definitely cut down on 02 views. Plans call for a "slim and shorter, 14-15 story" project on the opposite

The Jade absolutely does not allow any resident to grill outdoors in any area private or common. The Jade has no barbecue grill in the common area. If you live here, you will not be able to grill anything outdoors. The overall management here is a double edged sword in terms of good and bad. On the one hand, it is great they are enforcing the Association rules, such as limited pool hours and fitness area hours. On the other hand, there are so many rules, and the rules are so strictly enforced, that one might view it as a fault. Let me put it this way - I view this place as so up tight and rule
