My name is Katie Burns and I've been an independent stylist since 2006. I have always had a love for transformations and bringing to life clients visions of who they could be. There is a magic and confidence that comes from changing your look! My love of hair began at a young age when I learned to braid my own hair.
From there I did my friends hair for all the high school dances and "fixed" other girls hair through those nights when it was falling down. I strive to always have a growth mindset in life, and my work behind the chair is no different. I'm always taking classes across the board to take my skills to the next level both in hair + business.

Katie is a licensed cosmetologist and makeup artist, working behind the chair since 2006. Originally trained in upstate NY, she has pursued many continuing education opportunities over the years. Some of these include courses and certifications at the REDKEN Exchange, DevaCurl Academy, and Temptu Pro Airbrush Makeup.
Would you like to meet me prior to booking? During your consultation, we will discuss your hair history, goals and create a customized plan to get you there! The consultation fee will be applied toward your first appointment if your reservation falls within 4 weeks of your original consultation appointment.

My experience with Katie is always beyond my expectations. She is knowledgeable and passionate about her craft. I feel completely at ease in her chair. As a client that has minimal time for self care, it’s incredible to feel comfortable and secure when I take the few hours to visit with my stylist. Over the years Katie has been a wonderful resource for education regarding my hair care needs. She handles all of my challenges/questions with patience, grace and creativity. Katie is the stylist to see if you are looking for a new style, color, or need advice on the best products to use. As I've gotten older my hair has started to change. Katie gave me great product suggestions, explained how each would help, and she also took the time to teach me a new styling technique that I wanted to learn. I highly recommend!
