In Early 2010, Master Barber Christopher Paratore had a vision of opening a barbershop in his home town of Guilderland NY. He wanted a barber shop with a small town atmosphere where paths cross constantly from home, work or play and where everybody knows your name. Chris was looking for a return to the golden era of the barber shop.
Jacqueline's formal training began at Albany Vocational School during her last two years while attending Guilderland High school. After graduation from high school she attended HVCC studing business and marketing. She then began an internship at Luxe Salon under Chris Turek. Jacqueline then started a barber apprenticeship with her brother Christopher.

Jackie has been doing my haircuts the last three or four years. she has done an outstanding job. jackie is very friendly and professional. she knows what i want everytime i go in for an appointment. i give crispy cuts the highest recommendation. i would suggest to call to see how busy they are or make an anointment. their phone number is 518-250-5316.

I typically go to another local barbershop, but the person that cuts my hair is on vacation and I really needed a cut. Since my son, who is home from college, is a stickler for perfection in his haircuts (he is a millennial after all), I didn't want to be embarrassed by a bad cut, but I didn't want to pay a lot for the cut. I looked online for somewhere else; consulting Yelp among other sites for help. Finding Chrispycuts was awesome. Half the reason I am putting up this review is because with the last reviews being from 2012 and driving by twice without seeing it, I initially thought this place might not exist anymore. I think the street-number location might be a little off on bing and google maps, which kept taking me too far down the road. If you are on Rt20/Western Ave traveling westbound, its just passed the Stewarts and Valvoline.

Other than as an Albany High grad it was a little tough to be in such a Guilderland High place ....
The only flaw! What a fantastic barber shop. Was a walk-in today and was treated to a fantastic haircut, in a fantastic shop, at a very reasonable price. Shave and a haircut was $25 which is a great price for the work of a master barber. Will be headed back, perhaps with my AHS Falcons sweatshirt.
